I mean, it doesn't take a genius to work out that he'll want to know if he's going to get game time with the new head coach before potentially turning down some of the biggest clubs in the world. So he's obviously not going to sign anything until we have a new head coach...who would?

Obviously this kind of thing re the players is a potential concern, but it such an easy story to make up with our ongoing head coach search. Coming from what appears to be a mag, I dont believe it. Will wait for some actual non biased sources to report this stuff.

Understand the highly-rated Dan Neil has turned down a new deal at [HASHTAG]#SAFC[/HASHTAG].
One of the factors believed to be the uncertainty surrounding the club's failure to appoint a new manager after more than 100 days. Neil has made 149 starts in the last three seasons.
 
Not fussed in the slightest at that Dan Neil "news". At the very most I'd expect it to be a case of waiting to see who the new gaffer is, rather than "turning down" a deal.

And even then, I'd be surprised if he signed a new deal when he has quite a way to go on his existing one and is likely going to have EPL interest.
