Interesting that there is still no news on Maric agreeing to the new role at Bayern?
Rosenior is keeping a very low profile, as is Still.
Not heard a thing about Jenson, so we wait and see who takes on the role, but I'll be happy with any one of these.

That's not him saying it's imminent. Not sure why people are struggling with that.
That's him saying he hopes to appoint someone soon, not that we are appointing someone soon.
I could say I hope to win the lottery soon...doesn't mean it's going to happen.
If it truly was imminent, and he had said it was imminent (not hopes it will be imminent), then there'd be no need for the statement.
Probably will be soon, but there wouldn't be a need for that statement if we were going to appoint someone tonight or tomorrow...we'd just announce it.

Oh for sure. Thats also part of the reason why i felt urged to post something. Its definitely not to talk him down or something. I do think a championship move could be the right step for him. But when i read stuff about beatifull attacking pressing football, i do not recognize that. Especially this season we struggled against a ton of weak opponents (amateurs, Andorran teams, recordloss to Zrjinski), and in the topgames we didnt create anything, leading to his dismissal. But last season we got to the semi final in the conference league. With the 2 wins against Lazio definitely being the best 2 games in his period as coach, that season he also had by far the best squad. But even with that amazing squad, the football wasnt always super entertaining. But there are also people who put the blame of the dissapointing results more to a bad transferwindow. Which is ofcourse also partly true. Its never only the coach to blame.
This is exactly why it's totally pointless for the club to 'speak' to the supporters ...

I'm happy with the statement like, I just think people are misunderstanding what he's actually said.
They wouldn’t put the statement out if it wasn’t sorted.
Yes he hasn’t said it’s imminent because then why even make a statement. The fact he’s used the word imminent in the statement for me at least is saying by this time next week we will know who the head coach is. If we’re none the wiser in 2 weeks time then KLD will look a bit daft so doubt he’ll do that to himself. I predict a Tuesday announcement.

Surely if it was sorted, the statement would be an announcement of a head coach, no?
My thoughts are. It’s pretty much sorted but they need to iron some stuff out and it won’t be till next week when it’s all formalised. I don’t think they’d risk a statement if they didn’t think they were very very close
I think they (and this is just my opinion) have agreed terms with 2. Their choice.
I'm taking it as a 'it's sorted, aware it's taken ages, much longer than we expected, won't be much longer before you know' message.
