| @alexedicken reports on Blues interest in Liam Rosenior as manager search enters third week.

“Rosenior has informed Blues that he wanted to take time to consider his options and he is understood to have interest from clubs higher up the pyramid.

Not many championship clubs looking for head coaches bar us and Burnley?

Rosenior does fit our usual type under KLD/Speakman to be fair.

Johnson, Neil, Mowbray, Beale, Dodds.

It's all very English based.

Jansen has posted on his IG that he’s doing the coaches voice today. (If it’s his real account). Isn’t that ran by Dave Jones? Member of our board?
https://academy.coachesvoice.com/programs/cv-live-michael-beale-on-demand?category_id=60550 There’s the Jones Beale link then ‘ In a fascinating hour-long session, Beale, who followed Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa before being named QPR manager in the summer of 2022, presented on how to implement a playing style. He spoke about his processes when arriving at a new club, the work he does to implement his ideas, both with and without the ball, and how he goes about making daily improvements to both the team and the individuals within it. He also answered a varied set of questions from the live audience, all asked by host David Jones of Sky Sports.’

I wonder who the whole fan base would realistically accept with open arms.

Few, if any, of us know much about any of these managers. I wasn’t sold on Still, but a lot were.

We are not the only option for managers to consider, and when Bayern struggled to appoint and ended up with someone who has just been relegated despite only needing 33 points to survive, shows where managerial roundabout is.

I’ll fully support anyone given the job. Just wish everyone could say the same

One of the reasons Dave Jones was the point of contact for Michael Beale. Speakman gets the **** for Beale, and rightly so, but Dave Jones pushed for Beale and helped be the point of contact.

Any of Jansen, still or Rosenior and I’d be happy, think Maric is gone now only reason I’m not including him, happy to give whoever they pick a chance though they’re definitely more qualified than me!

Of the names linked, I'd rank them like this:

Will Still
Paul Heckingbottom
Liam Rosenior
Pascal Jansen
Rene Maric

It would be class if we can end up with a better head coach than Still after all this carry on.

I know sod all about Pascal Jansen but he sounds impressive from what I've picked up off here. AZ were always a team that seemed to be well thought of.
Watch it be Still and people will be pissed off with Speakman and KLD.

My order would be this and I'd be happy with any of my top 3...

1. Will Still
2. Rene Maric
3. Pascal Jansen
4. Paul Heckingbottom
5. Liam Rosenior
6. Dave Challinor

7. Stephen Robinson
