So what was the fishpaste info about? Games being played around final negotiations?has been since last tuesday
He does regularly post things which turn out to be true, usually more of a negative slant but he seems confident and happy of this next appointment. He reputable?
I would guess the increasingly unlikely comment was to do with him talking to Norwich - leaked probably from Still’s side, but they’ve always had that Danish lad as first choice and have gone for him.So what was the fishpaste info about? Games being played around final negotiations?
Cheers mate. I dont mean to say I am bitter or want a role. Actually quite content with 'retiring' now. I was never one who wanted any big front bench role in the pro game. I just love watching footballers develop and enjoyed playing a small role in that. I was lucky enough to have coaches in academies who liked my coaching approach, so I got my chance to work with elite level players. I am definitely not as useful as I once was because there are so many lads who never made it past 18 at academies who now have 2 or 3 years coaching under their belt. It is their turn at it.Just guessing at your age mate but I know of plenty of managers/coaches who are older than I assume you to be. It's maybe not the level you want to be working at but I wouldn't be writing yourself off for that kind of thing.
As far as Still goes, he is very young to be a head coach. I think it is probably makes sense with our young owner and youngish board. You could argue that an older head would keep them in check but I think it might work due to them (presumably) having a similar view of the world.

Agreed, although I can’t remember much of his punditry.Good player good tv pundit. Absolutely shocking manager

Don't get this one at all. I understand Kompany to Bayern based on how utterly dominant Burnley as a team were in the Championship however I thought Leicester were pretty average considering the level of player they had and relied so heavily on individual moments. Hard to criticise the league champions but I just think McKenna/Martin are more impressive.
Hipster appointments. I like that phrase.Agreed, its baffling. It almost feels like they've looked at the table and gone for the recent trend of "young coach, formerly at big club as an assistant".
He ticks the boxes of the current hipster trend of appointments.

City, Arsenal and Chelsea now either have Pep or a Pep assistant. I love Pep but that's boring.Agreed, its baffling. It almost feels like they've looked at the table and gone for the recent trend of "young coach, formerly at big club as an assistant".

100% agree mate. Maresca wasnt great imo and his team was far to easy to stop. They can appoint someone far better and be lowerid table next season.I actually think its awesome news for Leicester. £10m and the chance to appoint somebody with a playing style that might work in the Premier League.
Me too mate. I am talking myself into it.Unfortunately Will Still kinda feels like one to me. But I'm excited by it nonetheless![]()
I look on Arteta as his own man now, but I know what you mean. Few Klopp assistants now ploughing their own furrow too.City, Arsenal and Chelsea now either have Pep or a Pep assistant. I love Pep but that's boring.

Their fans aren't at all fussed on him going, in fact many are really pleased about it, which speaks volumes considering he was a league/promotion winning head coach for them.I actually think its awesome news for Leicester. £10m and the chance to appoint somebody with a playing style that might work in the Premier League.
