Would he be so bad? I'm becoming quite relaxed about the new coach as after all this time the owners must really have done their due diligence on whoever they pick
Don’t really know much about him, other than his stint at Bruges was a disaster. Only mentioned it as 2 completely unconnected people said it to me…both probably read it on RTG.
Like you say the club will have done a lot of work behind the scenes after the last fiasco.
I mentioned Parker a while ago. 2 promotions from this league. Bob knows him though and doesnt think he would come back to north east. Also reckon he is not the PR the club will be after with his Newcastle connection. Wouldnt bother me but some would make a noise I reckon. I would take him here but I think it is highly improbable he is on the current shortlist.
Typical, so Parker isn't in the running. Wonder if I could start a Shteve Maclaren rumour based on he's bilingual?
Roy Hodgson speaks 5 languages. One of this countries finest coaches, at least in terms of continental appreciation. Oddly derided in this country.

A very very underrated coach. Worked wonders in Europe
That's a very generous appraisal given this is the team that brought you Mick Beale. Fair play. I hope you're right.
