By his own admission we are failing big time.

His words were "we want to build a team to challenge the top 2. No one is happy with play off places"

We are 31 points behind the league leaders, in March. That's some regression.
Yep, I’m sick to death
Concerned massively with the direction KLD is taking us

Thanks for the comments, and that may be possible, but still at the hypothetical stage re KLD leaving. However , it doesn't address the question I was asking

I don't think your question can be answered till the ownership is fully resolved and show commitment beyond this season.

That's exactly the problem I'm having. I cant think of anyone, hence my question.
There is clearly good one around, but ours appears to be more front and centre of things than them.

Just thought of another 1, Mark Noble at West ham

WTF apart from Speakman thought Beale, Dodds, Proctor were an upgrade on Tony Mowbray?

Utter charlatan appointing mates and other charlatans. He really has to go back to sticking to academy level along with Dodds and proctor or leave - has got promoted way above his capabilities - junior level the lot of them imo.

I only have one question to all those screaming for Speakman to go.
Who do you think should replace him?
Reasonable suggestions please.

Just for the record, I am quite happy with KS despite his obvious errors, of which there are a few. On the whole, the good outweighs the bad.
However, his performance review at the end of this season should be interesting, and he will have to come up with a decent plan for the next season.

I wasn't aware that KLD was that close to selling up. Can we set that to one side, just for the purpose of this discussion. Who do we think 8s out there that could do a better job and is realistic. I'll be honest here, I have no idea.

Not my wheel house either mate. I do feel the balance of power needs to shift though. The head coach needs to have more say than they currently do. They shouldn't have to listen to KS and have Proctor and Dodds forced upon them (due to KS) feeling they have amazing potential and speak the same way he does. It's a massive issue.

He hasn't been in that job very long has he? I'm sure he was playing last season. Ok not a lot but I seem to remember his goodbye on the pitch.
No, I don't think he played last season. When they won the Europa League thing he wasn't part of the squad but they gave him his shirt to celebrate in because the players all love him. He's Mr West Ham though. I can see him getting the manager's job there at some point.

Any decent coach wouldn't work under those constraints, ah hang on, that might explain a lot... lol

That is so obvious it's staring us all in the face now - speakman is a massive issue and the dodds/Proctor unsackable/immovable objects must be ruling out about 95% of possible head coach options.

Honestly when you think about it how bizarre is it? They are hardly Pirlo and Pep ffs.
