Imagine if the club had Dodds as the backup to Still, expected backlash if they announced Dodds, so leaked that we were getting Beale in order to get all the fans to want anyone but Beale, meaning we'd then all be happy with Dodds.

Genius.

Exactly, it's embarrassing the way some are going on about Beale. If he gets the job then just get behind him, not many ( including myself) wanted TM and he turned out to be good for the club

This myth about the club being "cheap" keeps getting repeated and I just don't see it.

The owners have invested in the academy and the structure. They've invested in players. They invested in a Championship level manager when we were in League One. They've rejected 8 figure sums for Jack Clarke. They're not making profits.

The only thing I can assume when people keep saying "cheap" is that the mean they want an owner to outspend everyone else.

He believes the 20 or so fans off here and a few other sites represent the feelings of the other 45,000 that say nowt because they are happy and can see the way the club is going. I seriously thought the mag fans were deluded but these have raised the bar to another stratosphere

It's so lazy, whatever people don't like they'll say it's because the club won't spend.

How do you know we have rejected 8 figure sums for JC? I was under the impression it was between 10 and 12m we had rejected.
 
Not sure if he is there but I think one or two of people associated to him are. Looks like them anyway. Sitting with Speakman in the box

Is it Beale getting the job or not? I was led to believe the new manager would be watching the game today from the stands. I haven't seen one single but of proof Beale is the new coach.
