Sorry mate, I wasn't aware that either KLD or KS have banged on about our upcoming coach, I thought it was just all social media and speculation. Maybe I missed something, and I am a self confessed happy clapper, but I think the past 2 years have entitled me to that.
Let's see what happens shall we?

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt but I’m allowed to be disappointed with it, I would love nothing more to be wrong about this and I hope to god I’m being quoted to **** in the summer when promoted

If it's Beale then the club have seen something in him that fits in with our model. Some will have you believe that it's "only because he's unemployed" but then so was Mowbray. And Alex Neil. And Peter Reid come to think of it.

If KLD believes Beale is the right choice then he has my backing.

It's possible they've got it wrong. It's also possible they've got it right. People slagging the man off (and the club) before he's even appointed is beyond embarrassing.

It's doesn't look like it's going to be an appointment we were hoping for but after the last few appointments I suppose they seem to know what they want. It's taken a little of the gloss off a great week but hopefully tomorrow the players can put a smile back on our faces. Anyway early start for Bristol and a long day ahead tomorrow. Dodds was absolutely slated when he was forced to step in after we'd been totally humiliated at Bolton ...

Plenty of good managers fail at one club and succeed at another. I'll take Beale's 71 win percentage here in a heartbeat (2nd best in Rangers 120 year history by the way)

I doubt KLD would have pulled rank over this, but the Neil hiring was a bit of a farce too mind, so this is not something they do smoothly all the time. And we do it often!

But Speakman is his man, no doubt about that. I think he'll be here for KLD's duration.

For a Conference League standard when there's only two teams of note in the competition, that pretty impressive.

I really hope we didn’t have all our eggs in the Still basket, and got annoyed at how long compensation was taking to agree, so then decided to appoint the out of work manager to move quickly. I’d rather wait another 2 weeks and get the right guy

Should have just paid the compensation, I can't believe KLD couldn't have sorted it. So instead of an up and coming yound French speaking coach, it seems we have the guy who nobody seems to like or want !!!!

It was only a "farce" to use your words because everyone thought it was going to be Keane when in fact he was never in the running. More evidence of people believing Internet rumours and ignoring what was coming out of the club
