Whoever is appointed I’ll be getting behind, if it’s one of these three then so be it. Challinor actually seems like a good option, risky but no more than Still.

Some will kick off but all good managers start somewhere and we cant forget we were in League One not long ago and finished right down in the Championship last season. We are very much a work in progress which limits our options somewhat.

That vocal minority who will boo etc from the start seem oblivious to the fact that such behaviour will put off other potential coaches too.

Would love it to be Jensen but would be very happy with Chanillor as hes a top manager who just hasn’t had a chance to prove himself yet at a higher level

I’d totally understand supporters concerns if it was Challinor or Robinson, though. I don’t wanna get into it (yet). Let’s see what develops over the coming days…

Having dicked around for this long, to appoint either Stockport or St Mirren manager will not go down great… either of these could have appointed weeks/months ago. Let’s see, it’s pure speculation right now

I don't want Challinor purely for the reaction I know he will receive. Which will be both understandable but also extremely disruptive.

It just has to be Jensen, if we are truly down to those 3.

Personally I don't think we have a shortlist of 3... they're just the 3 names been mentioned.

And bare in mind Robinson has only been mentioned by Nixon who probably has an agent mate pushing him

Given what happened with Beale, is the club trying to judge fans reaction to Jansen, before they appoint him? Put Jansen's name out their with 2 less significant candidates - get everyone hoping it's Jansen and then announce him.

Nah he hasn't said anything, ill chase him again but hes at the denmark norway u21 game today so not sure when ill hear back from him

Jansen - highly rated coach who has been linked with the Ajax job previously I believe. Got Alkmaar playing lovely stuff and regularly had them finishing European places with a young team.

Challinor - great win percentage and plays high press. Never managed above league two yet, although won it last year. Be a risk.

Robinson - ****e.

Think we're on the same page with this. Got my season ticket and looking forward to it whoever the manager and they will 100% get my backing. However, in terms of being an anonymous lad on a forum that I doubt the new manager will ever see, I'll be ranting about an appointment like the two you mention. Venting my feelings on here is completely different to how I am at the actual games.
