Don't feel bad. I spent six years in a French speaking country and basically picked up how to order a large beer and a cheese and ham toastie.
Ah, right. So it's just supposition then. The unwritten one that says
Get rid of Gooch Pritch and Batth and sign kids who are not good enough
And we have had the worst of times, it’s a sign I tell you.Reading some of these comments from the conference it sounds like lens isn't having the best of times
I'm wondering if part one of the plan was to fill the squad with a stupid amount of promising prospects and get minutes into them.
Then in part two, they assess the team/individuals and look at which are progressing and which are not, and where that leaves gaps. Then start plugging more marquee (championship standard) type players into said gaps.
Probably not. But **** me, that could be quite a clever and quite peculiar way of building a team.
AgreeLook there's better out there than Will Still, we just need to change the model change our DOF and we can get a top coach, to get us up where we belong.

Anything in the story that we looked at Still after Mogga but decided he's not good enough... so we are looking elsewhere?
Well yeah, I'd say you're absolutely bang on.
How could we possibly sign the likes of Ballard now when the cost would be beyond us. Of course we have to take chances, as we did with Jack Clarke, and not every move will pay off. It seems we have lots of players who are developing and trying to find their best position like Jobe. That can't happen overnight but the reality is that once he's established he'll have a value way above our means.
Players like Aouchiche are being written off despite their values increasing and not yet having found their best position or having a run in the team.
We need a manager who can find solutions with the squad he has available ...
... not just be presented with an oven-ready experienced Championship team to take up with minimal nous.

We have a number of candidates. This club remains attractive. Today, we don't have the right person yet. We work hard, without rushing. The hasty decisions, particularly those taken on the sporting side over the past 18 months, have been paid very dearly. »

Thinking about it, isn’t it funny how it comes out still has changed agency, then almost straight away these links start coming out, agents eh….Those tweets from Sky and the Athletic the other day seem more and more like Still's agent putting pressure on us.
Be funny if we pulled our offer now
