****ing hell, I've been hoping all week today would be the day this could be put to bed and I could stop thinking about it. Instead it's got worse!

If he is telling the truth maybe that is why Wicky was shot down FAST yesterday, to make sure Still didn't think we had agreed with someone else

Ive heard the same from a contact

Sounds like we were willing to give Still what he wanted (coaching staff wise) but hes moved the goal posts and has been keeping his options open - all rumours of course and that info is 3rd hand info

Should have been wrapped up sooner, as it signed and sealed mate.

None of that is the end of the world. We had a **** season, it happens. As with every season, we have a new one around the corner to put things right. As long as there is a new Head Coach on the 1st day of pre season then we are fine.

All agreed in principle but in that scenario the club’s hands are tied in having anything more binding in place.

Could a club legally stop him signing a contract that starts, after theirs has finished?

End of the world? No. But it's certainly not good and not exactly something people should just be ignoring saying we have nothing to complain about.

If we are to believe the ITKs, which frankly is all we have to go off considering the shocking state of local journalism, we don't even have a proper structure in place. KLD should be nowhere near the head coach search.

I'm a happy clapper but just feel so down on the club to the point where i'm just being outright negative as I see no signs of change right now.

After the season we’ve just had we should be pulling out all of the stops to get our man. We settle for 3rd/4th best and continue how we finished last season we’re in for a real struggle.

The way I see it - If Still came to negotiations and said right this is the contract I want, these are the promises I want and this is who I want to bring in and we said yes no problem to everything he asked are people really naive enough to think we’d be in this situation?

I want a manager to come here and be totally invested in the club and project. If its fifth choice and someone we don't really want and they don't really want to be here it will be another disaster. We need an appointment soon though as we need to start planning for the new season and getting things in place. The new coach has to have input and be completely aligned with what we are doing. If he comes half arsed then it will turn to ****. But as Smug says, noone has a clue what is going on. We finished 16th in championship last season so it's a hard sell and I think it's hard to criticise people without having a clue what's happening. The proof will be when a manager is appointed and we get an understanding of the process. The only reason we are all getting stirred up is cos of rumours.
