if you read his comments obviously translation could be wrong, but he's basically saying it just all a load of rumours and it will all fade away , that's the way i've read it anyway l, that's why i'm saying L'ÉQUIPE won't just pull a rumour and go with it , they would of checked it
Brilliant. I was just posting the other lads tweet.

The issue is people expect it to be absolute already. Of course there are going to be talks which leads to more talks. Big decisions for both parties. I think I said on this thread that he would be exactly what KLD and Speakman would want and if there was any willingness shown from Still we should go for it.

Seems that's there has been and KLD isn't going to speak to him personally for the bants. Hope it gets over the line.

Also, will be the issue of compo. Has to be fingers crossed.
like any gaffer we get it will be a gamble, but i think he's probably the most exciting potential gaffer we've had in years, i still think it will be dodds saturday and hopefully it will be stills first game against coventry the week after, hopefully it gets all done

Can I just say that I haven’t got a clue about any of these people. :emoticon-0138-think
I reckon that Dodds has now had a taste of the highs of management and will be off if the right job and money comes along. Or if the new guy wants his own team in.
Big decision for the owners.

Let Dodds stay in his role, his time will come.

That would be my hunch, but that's all it is.

Being a main man, whatever the title, comes with multiple other time consuming obligations, some of which are frustrating and can be anathema to " football" people. Allardyce was once quoted as saying that after he had " set things up", it was the managing of all the other things that took the time.

In that case, its impossible to know how any individual would react. To some it's water off a ducks back, to others intolerable and its possible then to lose the talent of the coach.

But we'll see. Luckily I just pay to go and shout. Others are paid to decide!

I found his opening sentence arrogant. Not for me.

On the other side you always have like that competitive edge to you ans you sort of think if that last pass had been right, if that last dummy inside and shot had been the right one... you're always left with that half taste of missed opportunity.

I can't read French

Lots of inaccuracies written today about the future of Will Still. Out of respect for the main person concerned, I would not go into details but it would be a question of not denigrating the image of a coach and of questioning the intentions of the source who informed these few media which have picked up the news of the day. Period. #SDR

The problem with Twitter translate is it misses out the finer details

“A great deal of inaccuracies written today… out of respect for the person concerned I will not go into details…”

He’s looking down his nose at L’Equipe, the gold standard for French journalism

Even a Parisian would think “What a snooty little knacker”.
