Disagree with Phillips re Dodds, I’m not sure he wants the job. Just think it would be a reactionary appointment, it’s only been 2 games (as great as they’ve been), if the club have their man, and it appears to be Still, then I think they should stick with their plan which has has worked really well the last 18 months+. Dodds still has a big part to play here regardless
I don't recall saying he's going to be sticking lists in. Still is a coach with experience of both the Belgium and French league. I'm fairly sure the club will take advantage of that when looking for more younger players.

Like kompany had championship experience last season, silva the season before, biesla, farke, Wagner the seasons before that. The best coaches will perform well regardless of where they coach more often than not.

Surprised some are not fans of Super Kev's pundatry, don't always agree with him but I appreciate his takes and he usually outlines where they come from.
I was thinking the same the other day. If they gave it to Dodds, and it didn't work out, he's like to leave so we then have two positions to fill and weaker back up in the interim. He's good at what he does, so hopefully he doesn't want the step up.
