Press stories often have an agenda. Lens might have nipped in last minute, these things do happen but equally for Stills team that suggestion might squeeze a few extra quid out of us or from our perspective that story makes Still quite the coup. I think we’ve been looking at the right kind of manager and reckon it’ll be a good appointment even if we’ve missed Still at the last minute.

If I have endured a billion puns on Will Still's name he better bloody sign because I dread to think what you lot might do with some bugger called Wicky!

I had a call earlier that one, perhaps two, Stills had just arrived at the SOL ...

... I got all excited and asked him to send me a link or photos.

This is what he sent ...

It’s really a good exciting time for whoever our new coach is, lots of investment in the stadium and infrastructure, the opportunity to work with some young exciting players and also be part of the structure that will create our new central midfield & striker partnership. The new man will be able to put a real stamp on this squad from the off ! A real fresh start and I think it’s needed, I haven’t contributed much to this thread but I’ve kept a close eye on it, very interesting to see what people think about how our club should operate.
