If its Still, there will be a flurry of denials that anyone said the club was a ****show.
If its not Still, there will be a meltdown about how the club is a ****show.

Still don't know this week, and my crystal ball is knackered so guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I thought someone posted KLD was running the recruitment and Speakman was at all the u21 games sorting out the retainer lists.
Someone else posted still was in the running in December but after the Beale sacking was no longer considered.
Best just relax and wait for the Announcement

Serious question m8, and not starting any argument here, how do u know he was the target? Im only asking that btw because I haven’t a clue who’s on their list, I assume only three or four know that, so other than internet rumours I couldn’t say who was a contender

All depends on who it actually is. If it's Still then absolutely fine, they seem to have got their man.
It could be someone ****, it could be someone deemed better. We've just got to wait it out

To be fair to the poster he is one of majority, it seems, who think Still was a target, and perhaps the target. It was in the media back when Mowbray went. It has been widely reported on here by posters that he is the man - I have read everything from he was offered the job in early April to he starts on the 1st June. No issue with those posters posting what they are told btw, good on them. But I do think it is reasonable, personally, to read all of the internet stuff and assume there is some credibility to what posters are saying. Personally I trust everyone who has a bit of ITK as genuine, so on that basis tend to think Still is the one they have gone for.
Ermmm forgive the posters ignorance, but you were the one who posted on here saying that Still had been offered the job (prior to the 11th April) - So that in itself indicates the club have been chasing him for months.

Not realistic to base pre-emptive criticism of the club on is it, especially when that poster doesn't believe a word I say.
It's hilarious when people say 'serious questions will need to be asked' as if the club gives a toss what some clown is posting. It can't be a serious question unless you know serious facts, he's basing his entire argument on chit chat.
That's why I said if. No criticism. Yet. Maybe never. That's why the very top of the post says we'll see what happens.
Nobody knows for sure who the target is, but Still's name is mentioned more than every other candidate put together, and has been since December, so there's obviously something in it.

Agreed to some extent, but ITK's post what they hear and we love to hear it, however we know from experience that things can change and sometimes the results are completely different. On this occasion a little info and some ITK words have been repeated and regurgitated so many times, on here but largely on social media, RTG etc., that Will Still is going to be our next manager becomes de facto.
The reality is that we never really knew anything as fact.
I think I just this minute reached the point of saturation with William Still and have heard his name one too many times.

Trying to catch up on the forums and from what I can see today has consisted of
People are having a complete meltdown on the basis of info from someone called Captain Fishpaste
But are now being soothed by the words of a f**kin cartoon Penguin.
I am getting too old for this.
Personally hope its Still.
But can see why people are frustrated after writing the season off this appointment needs to be the right one.

Agree with this.
However, people need to realise that these lads are just passing on info, which maybe correct, it maybe wrong. No one apart from the board know exactly who is on the list. We need to take their information on board but not state it as fact. Not one reputable journalist has even mentioned any names at all regarding our new boss. We're just going to have to wait and see.
