If they give Dodds 2 weeks mind that’s not the slick planning we’ve been told about. It would indicate that Mowbray going was a knee jerk.

Surely we willbe done new man in for Saturday, am expecting even in time to take a training session days leading upto.

New man needs sorting so hits ground running for Christmas period

Your not meaning Dodds up to the job permanently? Was under the impression he only ever was planned as being coach

I'd say in one game Dodds showed he knows what he's doing and knows the squad, better than Mowbray arguably. It doesn't seriously put him forward for the top job for me but he's proved himself to an extent and that'll have to be good enough for now.

I like the cut of his jib but it's extremely rare for an interim boss to take over and be a success and there's a reason for that.

How long does Dodds need to be in charge for the bookies to pay out on any bets people have placed on him becoming permanent.

In that podcast he states he's just an ordinary bloke and is not used to being noticed/ asked for selfies etc

If we are professional about things and respectful you part with the manager before recruiting the next. I think everything was aligned with potential targets seen as available but you still need to go through the process. It’s still really rapid, between deciding to recruit and getting someone through the door can easily take 6 months at my work.
