Yet the crowd got right behind Beale when he was going through personal stuff which he praised us for! That seems to be forgotten tho and everything is the fans fault. The crowd weren't happy because the football and results were **** that is all.
We mightn’t have 10k empty seats if we were in that position though so the atmosphere would likely be better. It’s becoming common theme for visiting fans to say they didn’t hear a peep from our fans all game unless we scored. Only one end bothers to sing and since we found out we were playing Newcastle in the cup all they’ve sung about is the mags which is embarrassing in its own right.
The atmosphere in most stadiums these days is pretty poor. It's only really away fans that make noise in the majority of the bigger stadiums.
In his first 8 league games we only lost to Ipswich and Hull.. we had a 50% win rate, took a point away at Boro and dropped 2 against Rotherham. Hull had one shot all game anarl so that’s not true. Edit - Apologies forgot he’d just walked through the door when we played Coventry, didn’t include that.
No excuse. We've always prided ourselves in the Roker Roar, which seems to be slipping into consignment to history.
That performance was an absolute disgrace. Against the worst side in the league too. I knew that night Beale would never do the business here.
It isn’t necessarily club bashing though blondie, it’s raising concerns which posters feel are appropriate
Has there been any names or hints? @Scout73 I have a feeling it might be a left field foreign coach that hasn’t been mentioned
Exactly mate. Won't make any apologies for being concerned at getting into the middle of June without a manager. Now if that all changes in say, next 48 hours then fair dos.
