If he's telling the truth about the press gathering, then the probability of this being a managerial appointment is in excess of 95%, relax, get comfy and enjoy the ride.

Always thought he did a decent job at Chelsea first time round when they were under a transfer embargo. Brought a few youngsters through. Aye, I know. But because it’s become the narrative that we don’t yet have a new manager only because we won’t allow the new man to sack our entire back room team and bring in a load of his own people, we now seemingly wilfully neglect that that’s not the way that most clubs operate now.

I’m just being a bit of a nob sorry (woken up in a grump!)

You could have been woken at 04:40 by dogs whinging to be walked and fed! Everyone is allowed a grump, the challenge is to get out of it as quickly as possible
