I actually believe them that there are other candidates that haven't been "outed" yet. They'll have definitely spoken to more than just one at a time.

But its also very clear that the club are using the Echo to leak that.
Purely hearsay but Rosenier apparently didn’t interview for 2nd time because he was told first interview he couldn’t bring his own people

You know exactly the same as the rest of us sweet FA
No but I can make assumptions based on previous spending. I wasn’t pretending to be all knowing, I was merely using the information available and coming to a conclusion. Last I checked we didn’t have to reacted angrily to thought on here.

If all of the things we're reading are true, it does suggest the club have stringent demands, you can choose to view that positively or negatively.

Positive: We have very clear parameters and understand exactly what kind of candidate we want and what we want them to do.

Negative: We're being too specific in our demands on the head coach and are not allowing them the freedom to do what they want.
Reading from who though? From what I see it's from the same people that also said Still was on the verge of signing after we made a load of concessions on our parameters (before Lens came in - no shame losing out to them) so it either suggests our demands aren't that stringent and inflexible or their information isn't as good or as consistent as they might make out and they instead get drawn along with the mood...

Personally I think it's good, we're looking for a very specific candidate, if someone quibbles they're probably not right.

If Maric coming here was as advanced as people suggested before Still became available then I personally can't see that there's any possibility that he becomes our head coach now. We'd surely have gone straight back to him and it would have been done relatively quickly, the fact that hasn't happened suggests bridges have been burned or/and he'd changed his mind (or there was nothing in him being that far advanced in the first place).

I honestly don’t believe that’s a condition. That they need to work alongside existing staff probably is but that’s not especially unusual.
Dunno mate, if he was wanting to bring a full squad and we said no but happy to interview you for a second time and then he thought I need my people and duffed it, would make sense

I would have no problem at all accepting the positive side of this... But the club have to be better at understanding what their potential coaching pool is to recruit from.

Having specific parameters and approaching numerous coaches who would never accept such terms feels like STID season 1 when the scouts had Ibrahimovic written on a board.
