Had a couple of bevvies. Hoping we get Rosenior announced soon. He is the man. Just hope the board hold their nerve if fans are whining about mid table at Christmas. Some seem hell bent on foreign. Still is off the back of a tail off similar to Rosenior but fans obsessed with him, because he comes in from an overseas club. I hate to believe some fans would back Still irrespective for the first 12 months, but look for every fault in Rosenior. Sod them to be honest, nowt at all says we would be better with Still, or a n other, over Rosenior. All deserve the same from us. I predict if we go for Rosenior, and show patience and courage, we are promoted in 25/26 and make the club a mainstay in the premier league again.

I don't mind him. Would like a higher profile or a sexy young foreigner but no guarantees with them doing well. He seems better than some of the other ****ty Brit managers mentioned.

Ozan Tufan was never a forward mind, used to play centre mid.

People just rewriting things for their narratives
, Rosenior underachieved with the squad he had in the end...if he had that squad at the beginning im sure he would've got top 6, but it's all ifs buts and maybes.

He might be a good manager or he might be limited, I don't know!
What I do know is he'd be underwhelming in the grand scheme of things, even if he ended up being brilliant.

Like Mowbray, underwhelming, but what he achieved, to me, was breathtaking, it rekindled my love of football.

In fairness, I didn't follow his career at Fenerbahce, so not creating narratives, just had no idea he was a central midfielder. He seemed to play in a forward position at Hull from what I saw though (though not necessarily as an out and out striker).

The northern echo said a few executives at the club are pushing for Cifuentes

The job he did at QPR was very good to be fair. Even better than Rohl did with Sheff Wednesday I think. Pretty good going considering the **** in that QPR team. I wouldn’t be against it, but depends how much the compo is.

As I said in a previous post, if that’s who they want, pay the compensation and get the deal done

My part? It wasn't me who said it.

An argument with you over semantics or football wouldn't be very good as you aren't very knowledgeable about either.

You post guesswork as fact constantly but because it has your relentless positive spin it's ok, as soon as someone doesn't toe the line it gets shot down.

I agree baseless points aren't worth a place on the board, hence why when people talk about stupid stuff like 'ambition' or suggest we don't spend money when we clearly do and the facts are there to see I will happily shoot them down, but when people are being shot down over suggesting we should've had a coach in by now or that the structure of the club isn't what it should be or that things aren't as rosey as some would make out, all of which can and have been backed up by fact, it just creates an atmosphere where people don't want to post.

Funny you think I want to argue when it's all you do on here. Going through peoples old posts looking to catch them out.

Middle ground is allowed, things aren't as good as some say and aren't as bad as others say. You don't have to try to argue with everyone who might suggest things aren't great.

Quite right, it wasn't you and my response was originally in reply to Hamish 1973.

You quoted that response from Hamish and, without checking the username, thought it was him replying again, as 'guesswork' was in the text again.

I replied to you thinking it was Hamish, so I apologise for the error and the delay in replying ... busy day today.

While I'm on I did notice you said, 'you aren't very knowledgeable about football' ...

... you may well be right but I was wondering why you think that.

I'm really interested.

I'll be happy with rosenior as an appointment tbh mate, but Jansen is my choice personally. Peter Krowietz would be another.
After the latter years of Ellis short, and the last ownership I'm happy to be a side competing in the championship .
Our time will come again ;)

Based upon the questions you think should be asked within the interviews for the new head coach and the fact you think Mowbray bottled the playoff semi final.

This isn't worth clogging up the thread for so I won't be replying to you anymore.

I'm not the only one, everyone I know who was there thinks the same ...

... but I'm not the expert you are so who knows.

Have a good night
