I’ll put it out there that there’s a chance, a small one, that Still is back in the picture and hence the Jansen news.

if (big if) the club have leaked that Jansen is out, you have to think they’re confident that the outcome will be seen as positive by fans. Otherwise why leak it? Makes no sense

I’m probably in the minority now but I’d still love Still to come, but it seems so unlikely now that I’d find it hard to believe. I reckon @Scout73 is probably right and it’ll be someone not yet linked. I’d even be surprised with Rosenior at this point.

Yes

Nixon seems pretty confident it’s Cifuentes. If it is him then fair play as he pulled that one out of nowhere

That doesn't sound right to me.

In a two horse race, it would be very strange for the news to leak that the second is out before word spreads that the first is in.

I think there may be days left of this yet.

you may be right, we only have the recent news to go off so i was simply speculating on that...they could well have a few names that no one knows.

Everyone's opinion is valid but I see it very different to you. Rosenior is a very bright, young coach who has done well in both of his jobs to date. He would instantly get respect from the players due a fantastic playing career and his experience of managing in the Championship. Maric, for example, has never had a head coach role and would be a massive risk. Also, we need to get away from the idea that coaches have fixed systems. Rob Edwards played possession football at Forest Green, he then 'failed' at Watford, and went to Luton where he has been very successful with a far more direct style as it suited the players Luton had. The modern game requires flexibility and tactical awareness. I think Rosenior would be a great appointment and far less risky than a few you have mentioned.

Rosenior had a 34% win rate at Hull

****ing hope not. That is not conducive to efficient decision making
No wonder it's taking so long:emoticon-0140-rofl:

As per with Nixon I take it with a handful of salt but that would just be an awful way to be doing things. Would like Cifuentes though so I hope he's partly right.
