Has anyone seen the new away strip today? As I understand it is on a walk around town but pics arn't being released till 4pm tomorrow.

I thought the walk around town was tomorrow, but that they will release pics 4pm regardsless if somebody has spotted them.

People are going to be walking around town in the new away kit before it is officially revealed, and people will take pictures of them as they see them, send them into the facebook page or something, then there will be a prize draw out of the people who sent the pictures in and whoever wins gets the new away kit signed by the players.

Between 12 noon and 2pm on Saturday will be the launch at Tiger Leisure Princess Quay, followed by a walk around various locations in the centre.

Dunno why we don't just keep last seasons away shirt. Don't like the club always bringing out new shirts. Seems like they're fleecing the fans somehow.

If we did keep the old shirt from last year we'd only have to replace Totesport with Hudgell's Ambulance chasers and bingo.

You see they can't win on this, because if they did that I'd think it was worse. For any tarts that won't be seen dead in old kits the sponsors will date it and they'll 'have' to buy one with the latest sponsors on, but the club would be claiming they hadn't changed the kit. Same would apply with people who've got kids too weak willed to tell their mates to **** off if they have a go about them not having the latest kits. Think it's better in those cases that if the sponsors are changing the kit is changed completely.

Just thinking back to the centenary away kit actually. We kept that as the 3rd kit the following season with the same sponsor and everything, except for the centenary season we had a special crest with "The Tigers" replaced by "1904-2004", so the following season it'll have been getting sold with a different crest.
