Basic, basic, basic!
Disappointed with this season's kits.
The mock ups I saw were miles better. Why don't these kit designers realise that if they put a bit of effort in they'd sell loads more??

What would you do different and how do you know they won’t sell loads of them?

Personally think the home one is one of the best we’ve had in recent years.

This season will probably be the first for quite a few seasons that I'll get both tops. Just need to see the away in the flesh. Love the home one, very smart.

I'd much rather buy a retro top nowadays so it's a long time since I'd consider buying new kits to be honest but even if I did an iron on badge would stop me.

Someone on twitter hit the nail on the head for me "it looks like a Nike top with a Sunderland badge, not a Sunderland top with a Nike tick"

I'm really disappointed in this one. No thought into from nike and I'm sure we had a deal for two bespoke kits???

Fwiw can buy the shirt from Nike for £18 and then get the sunderland badge printed for £7 at total sport
Its partly because its not a direct deal with Nike, its a third party arrangement. We get some bespoke elements but not to the same extent as a Premier League club would.

Sort of like it but it could have been so much better.

I wish we could get someone like this lad to do our kit - this is a kit he did for the team he sponsors
