Any device on your home network provides an opportunity for data loss from any other device on the same network.
The term “virus” is very apt. Once a virus infects your network, you have no idea where it will hide, just waiting to an opportunity to do you harm. It isn’t about the apps you load, it’s the malware preloaded into the stick.
