Watched a couple of episodes of Partridge last night
Only a few laughs in it
It doesnt work anymore
I love everything he’s ever done , don’t think a day has passed by since 1997 without me quoting it, but have to admit this looks a series too far, a couple of funny moments from first couple of episodes but nothing like his best . Hoping it picks up

Just finished watching Frauds, 6 part crime job on ITVX, Suranne Jones and Jodie Whittaker. Not bad but if anyone's thinking of emigrating to Spain be prepared to be surrounded by dodgy, generally unpleasant Brits.

One Battle After Another.

Best film I've seen this year.

Imagine The Great Lebowski dressed like Arthur Dent blundering his way through various confrontations with Dr Strangelove in a bizarre remake of Taken with a Luke Skywalker / Darth Vader themed twist, set in an America moving rapidly towards Civil War (the 2024 film not the actual American civil war), as the Department of Homeland Security increases its insidious ICE raids and you've probably got a very poor impression of this film.

Nigh on 3 hours and the pace didn't let up once.

I'll have to imagine it, I've not seen The Great Lewbowski, or any Star Wars films.
