Because he had legal costs to pay and, although he obviously had to plead guilty to the actual charge (airing and refusing to take down the documentary), he wanted to defend himself by showing again what was in the documentary, him sharing collected evidence (loads of footage and documents of what those involved said, not what he was saying). He was refused. You really can't comment sensibly if you haven't watched it!
As I keep saying, I really don't want to extend the thread or the debate. It was simply a suggestion for something for people on here to watch, just like so many others have put forward - meaning some things are for you, some others aren't. Whether you like it or not is your choice, but please don't keep commenting on TR, it's not meant as a debate about him, especially if you haven't and won't watch it. Ta
To be fair the attorney general got costs off him so it’s cost him about £100k which is amusing (although only about half what he gets from the people who support him publicly)

He’s scammed people out of millions and his next prison sentence (which I believe would be his sixth) will probably be for tax evasion.

Yet some people who broke a female coppers nose in Manchester airport are still walking around free with no sign they are every going to be arrested.
Totally accurate apart from the fact that they have already been arrested you utter dimwit, that's why they're out on bail.

Do you like living in a bedroom at your mother’s?

Whereabouts do you live?,Still too embarrassed to say where? You can tell us on Saturday. Oh, you won’t be there.

You are fiesty today

Re Stephen hyphenated Lennon - he deliberately committed contempt of court to publicise his "journalism" rather than appeal the case where he was found to have committed libel. If he had strong enough evidence to support an appeal he'd have gone down that legitimate route. As he didn't it's pretty clear it's all about his contemptuous 'politics', not those caught up in the unpleasant situation that he's exploited to serve his agenda.

You must be embarrassed about where you live. Obviously in a bedroom at your mum’s but where is it.
Not there on Saturday then?

It was a civil case, until he ignored the outcome and made it into a contempt case, its a situation of entirely his own making (and other peoples funding).
Yes,I'm fully aware it was contempt of Court,I'm also fully aware that there are 2 types of contempt of Court(Civil and Criminal).

Robinson is currently imprisoned in HMP Belmarsh as a 'Category D Civil prisoner'...(HMP Belmarsh being a 'Category A' prison).

So it's not two tier but four tier?
