Jessica Jones is the best Marvel Netflix show by a mile.

Kilgrave might be the best villain Marvel have, movies or TV.
I don't normally like superhero/Marvel stuff to be honest but think Jessica Jones does it really well.

Absolutely loving the expanse series 3 and gutted that SyFy are cancelling it although it is likely that amazon or Netflix will take it up

The Defiant Ones documentary about Jimmy Iovine and Dr Dre is a great watch (if you don’t like the music I suppose it might be less good )

I genuinely like the daft stupidity of Brooklyn 99, could watch it all day.
I've watched all of the 800 words that BBC 1 ran recently. NZ/AUS
I found it really enjoyable and funny.
There' s also some lovely ladies in it .

TV Series Watched:

Game of Thrones (Series 1-6)
Breaking Bad (Series 1-5)
Better Call Saul (Gave up after Series 1)
Stranger Things (Series 1-2)

Currently watching ‘13 Reasons Why’. Started yesterday evening and onto Series 2 Episode 5 now. Basically a high school girl kills themself but releases 13 tapes with 13 reasons why she did it with different people to blame. It’s hard-hitting and pretty dark in places.

I’ve just finished Evil Genius about the pizza delivery bomber when a bloke robbed a bank with a bomb round his neck which couldn’t be removed
The actual footage of him sat in front of armed Police knowing it was about to explode was horrible...I could have done without them including the actual footage of it blowing up thanks
Interesting series, but ultimately a bit of a let down

Just finished The Same Sky, about an East German agent in West Berlin in 1974. Written by British writer Paula Milne and translated into German. Similar idea to Deutschland 83.

Quite good.

Started Scream: The TV Series.

Not a patch in the movies. It seems to have lost some of its magic that made it so tacky yet watchable.

Just finished season 3 of Narcos abd its still bloody good. Not as good as 1st 2 but still well worth.
Also watching a French one on BBC 4 called Missions that I'm enjoying.
It' about a mission to Mars.
It' very weird

I watched the first two episodes of Stranger Things this morning, the kids are a bit annoying (particularly the fat toothless one), but it's quite watchable and I'm intrigued to see the rest.

I was considering The Rain, but it reads like a bit of a teen type series, and I have a backlog of stuff to watch.

Season 1 of Stranger things is quite good. Eleven is the clear stand-out character when she comes into it. Season 2 was a better plot, but with a more all round cast performance.

In a similar vein, Dark was decent, if a bit odd and confusing at times with its 3 timelines.

Stranger Things is easily the best thing on Netflix (I've raved about it enough on this thread). Can't wait for the third series next year.

Dark was pretty decent. Though watch it in German with subtitles, it's infinitely better than the dub.

Just watched first one n half episodes of The Rain and it prob gets it' s 5 stars from teenagers.
Looking more like a 3 n half star too me but wiĺl persist.

Don't know if it has been mentioned before. I have watched loads on both Netflix & Amazon Prime. Just started watching Lucifer, I don't know why I haven't watched it before, Quite good for light entertainment. Half way through season 1.

Lucifer is hilarious. Shame it got cancelled after season 3 but they have released two more bonus episodes that was the start of season 4

I'm currently absolutely all over the expanse season 3, every week it feels like watching a movie its just put together that well !
