Dev, do you feel sorry for that moron? The fact that you have to explain it to him ...

He's not the sharpest tool in the shed ES, for instance he does not seem to believe you are Spanish, you can therefore expect a welter of unfunny jibes about your personality and habits, perhaps even a couple of hundred poor Fawlty Towers Manuel' type gags.

You know, the usual?

I think he's taking the pee pee out of one of your lot who used to be a hack and is now just a paranoid drunken wreck

Not what EC told me...

He said it was a spanish trait of respect.

Is Leggat spanish?

<whistle>

Yes, I've seen the typical sort of stupid vulgar nonsense spouted, Dev. I suppose the moron is more to be pitied than laughed at.

In the race to become new Everton manager.

A load of bets been coming in for him in the last few hours and the bookies have shat it. He was about 5/1 this morning but is now the favourite to get the job at about 7/4.

If Lennon does go then who comes in?

he was 16s this morning <ok>

mcnamara probly, but cant see him leaving for everton tbh, would be a stupid decision

if he went owen coyle would get the job i think.

not sure how i feel about it. if this was 6 months ago i would think he had to stay but the football lately has been pretty terrible. the team is very reminiscent of WGS's celtic team.

Why would it be a stupid decision? Everton are a regular top 6 or 7 place in the EPL. He'd be foolish not to take it.

I am not sure. The chemicals in his brain went all wrong last time he left Celtic for England and he (admittedly) nearly topped himself. If you've been through mental hell and come out the other side you may become wary of chasing the greener grass.

Everton are a good club, they are they type of club a manager should consider good support realistic ambition and a very good youth set up.

It might be earlier than ideally he would have liked but it one of the better jobs in the EPL and he should take it if he wants to manage in the EPL IMO.

As for a replacement **** knows, wouldn't want O'Neil back that's not going forward and he's struggled to develop with the modern game in the last few years.
