If we have clubs wanting our players we should be asking who they have that fits our requirements ...
... play them at their own game.

Was just going to put him and Muamba from West HamI'll say it (only because no one else has) Miles Leaburn....
Would like mubama.I'll throw a few wildcards out as potential permanent signings irrespective of our "model"
- Jamal Lowe
- Kieffer Moore
- Andi Zeqiri (Swiss - at brighton - just back from loan at Basel - 24 now so unlikely to break thru KLD link?)
- Divin Mubama (West Ham like giving us players)
Jebbison, obviously nearly came before, might be available permanently for a just about affordable fee or on loan.
I could see him fitting in well, but he isnt the quickest. Might be on a decent wedge as well.Kieffer Moore
The thing is, he guarantees goals. I would be almost certain he gets minimum 15 in our side. Others have said his character is a problem, which if so makes him a non starter with out young side. If his character is solid, and to be fair Darren Ferguson always picks him, then I struggle to understand why so much angst about him. Tell you something, when I have seem him play, I wouldnt fancy marking his movement.was a joke... about to do my serious post.
Haven’t seen that but not unlikely, they’re more desperate for forwards than we are!Being linked with Everton isn't he?
People will laugh at me. Gelhardt back here would suit me just fine. Looks to be a lad that will do everything you ask of him and that is worth its weight in gold. There is a real talent in there and he can finish, he just lacks a bit of faith in himself for me.I think it depends on what we are trying to do from a play style perspective and a squad building perspective.
The attack was fluid with Gelhardt being the 9 and dropping deeper and allowing Clarke and Amad to be the main goal threats.
We also at times had Simms being more of a fox in the box type where the role of the players behind him was to create and he was the main goal scorer.
When Stewart was available he is a striker that creates his own chances with his pressing and is also a threat when balls are played in behind the defence.
So from a squad building point of view I feel like we need the fox in the box type as we have Hemir who is more of a bruiser and will hold the ball up and Stewart who will run the channels and create his own chances. Therefore I think Cannon on loan or Van Hooijdonk on a permanent would be good fits based on what I have seen on their highlights.
Oscar Bobb is an unbeliveable talent according to a lad I know at City. They are guessing but think he is like Foden and Pep will keep him close. Not an out and out striker either but some player. One of my top 10 u21s to watch.Serious Post
Firstly I don't think we will sign anybody on a permanent we've already heard of. Including the names linked.
Premier League Loans
Tom Cannon
Cameron Archer
Daniel Jebbison
Oscar Bobb (frankly more likely to go to one of the teams with City links - so Southampton or Leicester)
Noam Emeran
Of all the linked players the Ukrainian lad looks the best to my eye. Would be something of a coup, but right in out sweet spot. He has the style of play that would light up our fans.Jebbison would be my 1st choice, young striker with good experience of the league so far, cannon would be 2nd choice
I like the Ukrainian lad from what I've seen
Erik botheim would be on my list but im not sure if he would be available
Hes quality but 100% not a striker, probably best in a free role - loves to drop deep for the ballOscar Bobb is an unbeliveable talent according to a lad I know at City. I was never sure about him at Burton. Saw a bit of him and wasnt convinced. Then he came on for Sheff Utd and bullied us. There is something there, I would think he is one that is lacking game experience. Then again, what do I know and if Harvey and co pick him for a prem loan I will be excited.Jebbison, obviously nearly came before, might be available permanently for a just about affordable fee or on loan.
I really like this lad but i can imagine all the comments if we did sign him 'hes not experienced tho'Would like mubama.
I like him but we’re well stocked at 10 where he’d be best suited. Dack, Pritchard, possibly Jobe, Embleton when fit, Ba and Rigg can all play there potentially.People will laugh at me. Gelhardt back here would suit me just fine. Looks to be a lad that will do everything you ask of him and that is worth its weight in gold. I was sent some video clips of him and I just thought wow. David Silva esque, stupid as that is to say. I wait to see where he goes.Hes quality but 100% not a striker, probably best in a free role - loves to drop deep for the ball
Quality in possession n great balance about him
I know what you mean mate, and agree 100%. I would happily play him at 9 thoughI like him but we’re well stocked at 10 where he’d be best suited. Dack, Pritchard, possibly Jobe, Embleton when fit, Ba and Rigg can all play there potentially.
