OLM reported back what he did, minus the bits he was told he couldn't. The minutes or a report, same thing, the minutes would be partially complete, as it is was with the "report" we got. As to whether the folks at that meeting got offered something or not, I suspect we'll find out in the fullness of time, then we'll be told "we didn't say owt for the benefit of the club".

We were offered consultation with the fans and a business case for the change, nothing more, nothing less.

I don't feel like a victim by the way.

In my view, the tedium is a consequence of a few people so desperate to be contrary, they don't care how desperate they look as they twist and turn hoping for a contraversy that doesn't exist.

So nothing can ever be challenged, nothing posted under the CTWD name on here is ever wrong?
For ****s sake some on here jump down a posters neck because of spelling and grammar.

The fact is that not every one agrees with the OSC board and its stance, not everyone agrees with CTWD and its stance either.

Some posters on here do not mind if the name gets changed. As Tiger2008 points out the majority of proper supporters are bored by the whole sorry business. Does that prove the point about the polls? Do the majority have as much right to be represented as the ones who responded to the ballots?

Its time certain posters stopped their nit picking about the OSC as it is clear they don't like it happening to them.

Just for the record, I have absolutely no problem responding to the questions being asked.

I really have to agree with this. The "don't care/pro name change" people who really seem to be more "pro anything Allam" people have become increasingly bitter sounding with a tone that at times borders on the venomous.
What a "happy" position they find themselves in regarding this non disclosure spat as people like OLM are in a no win position. If they were to disclose matters injurious to the interests of the club - my what an outcry! Can you not hear the bellowing accusations of how, in order to advance their own cause, they were prepared to see the club suffer.
I'm not saying that everyone on the anti side of this argument has always been as tolerant as they ought, but there seems to be an almost anticipated delight from the pro change side, in seeing misery being heaped on those supporters who are traditionalists, if the change proceeds.

Who says it can't be questioned? I don't think anyone has a problem with it being discussed, but there's a few tedious types seemingly hunting issues and finding none, so they twist and hunt further, but offer nothing in return.

I've got to say, if the conspiracy these people seem to imply really exists, I take my hat off to those involved because they've hidden it so well, the in depth questioning and searching's found sod all so far.

Maybe, just maybe it doesn't exist and it really is just about the name change? Now there's a thought.

Obi, here's a question, when the time comes and someone has to knock on Assem Allams door, who do you think it will be?

I find a lot of what you write informative and interesting. You understand the obstacles we have to overcome before we get anywhere near Assem Allam's door, so who will be stood there knocking is a question I cannot answer. I'm sure you know the reasons why. Personally I believe in crossing one bridge at a time and currently that is the FA. Once the decision is made our choices will be clearer.

Thanks. I think OSC members should be pressing for details of their submission to be released, they have a right to know what was said.

I've just heard who's attended, other than Bernard, they're not who I expected would go.

When we press for the details of the meeting we are told its not in the clubs interest. By the same person who posted the above and that shouldnt be challenged?
He hasnt even given the OSC the chance to report back and makes this sort of statement. But its fine it's OLM, he's never put a foot wrong. When he was selected by the club to attend the meeting and posters questioned how and why, that was wrong as well was it?

Forget it, whats the point, lets have a poll on a name change.

"Not606 OLM"

Nobody's said it shouldn't be challenged, I've already said I'm happy to respond to any questions asked.

You're making this personal by the way. Poor show.

Obi, I may not know who it will be, but I am sure that I know who will not get invited in and that it is not going to be easy.

The CTWD submission to the FA will be released at 4.00pm today, I'm going to post it on a new thread, as I don't want it to get lost in the 87 pages on here, but it can be merged later if required. <ok>

Is the FA's April decision in force imediately or is there an appeal period?

he won't go to the courts.
If he doesn't get his own way, he's off.
simple.
it is a money making venture. some of you lot are taking it far too personally.
