Vince, your street creds ****ed without that wine glass..:emoticon-0103-cool:

My list is pretty long.

In no particular order.

Deep Purple
Black Sabbath
Cream
Roxy Music
David Bowies early stuff.
Thin Lizzy
Mott the Hoople

One none of my mates liked but I loved them
Grounhogs. Thank Christ for the Bomb

Quality mate....listening now! http://www.mixcloud.com/scotty3680/tunes-i-****ing-love-mix/

Glad you like it mate, i have 2 new ones, an electro one, and a house one to upload, i'll chuck them on tomorrow.

I can make them downloadable and they can be burned to cd, if it's tuff anyones into.

most of me mates have them in their cars, better than buying cheesey Ministry of sound cd's that dont reflect the quality in the musc thats out there!

i do a fair bit of djing but i'll stop short of advertising when and where on here, but i will postthe website when it goes live ;)

Ha ha. Just watched the Floyd play Comfortably Numb. Utter brilliance, but if Nick Mason in't the least rock 'n roll-looking bloke on the planet I don't know who is.

Must also doff my headgear to AC/DC and the immortal Captain Beefheart...

Sold my soul to punk so The Clash, The Jam etc, after Roxy Music, TRex, Bowie, Free, Queen and before The Fall, The Smiths, Cocteau Twins, Joy Division, REM, Radiohead, New Order, The Cure, Nirvana, Blur, Gorillaz, White Stripes and Smashing Pumpkins. Love many, many others too and for years went to more gigs and festivals than footy matches. Saw Bowie at Roker - one of my biggest thrills (terrible gig mind).

Bloody hell Thank Christ for the Bomb Is on the tube <ok>

Sid Beefheart is a legend as is Edgar Broughton, Robert Fripp (King Crimsom) and many others. Nick Mason should be a 606 moderator or anything that does not resemble a rock'n'roll drummer..

Whoops, no offence Syd but your no Ginger Baker either.. yeee haaaa

Plug

Ahaaaaaaaa the Smiths...Johnny Marr, the song writing the everything, pure brilliance..

Not exactly easy listening now . :)

Cheers Beak, that would be great to be able to download your mixes :emoticon-0148-yes: Although my number 1 is Dub Reggae, I do like anything from Lionel Richie to Sisters of Mercy, Donna Summer to The Prodigy and Simply Red to Tiesto!

Last month I was at the Bournemouth International Centre with my 24 year old son to see Pendulum live. We were both deaf as posts when we came out of there :) Went back to the same venue the night after with my wife to see Madness. Both were excellent nights

Just thinking what my kids took from me musically.

Definitely Floyd they all play it in their cars.

Queen

They loved Smoke on the Water when they were younger jumping all over playing air guitar. :)

and Wings Band on the run

When it comes to music I have a broad range of tastes, ranging from the likes of Duffy to Johny Cash with all kinds of music, groups and singers in between. However, I must confess that when I'm driving, I have Classic FM on more than anything else...

Lads you have hit my subject. I make my living from the music industry and love a lot of different music. I can't reply fully to this post right now as I am on my phone and about to start work but I will be back tomorrow with a fully reply

Old bands Floyd, Purple, Yes, Genesis,
Modern bands Cherry Ghost, Muse (one of the best innovative guitarists around in Matt Bellamy), Within Temptation, Nightwish, Kasabian

Floyd by a country mile though. Check out local band SHINE ON http://www.crazydiamonds.co.uk/ who do a faultless rendition of most of my favourites
Usually gig at the Customs House in the summer.

Look forward to it LostinVegas and as Andy Powell says, 'Only guitars have wings'..
