Got to admire his determination to become the best in an era when he had to compete against three of the game's all time greats. He had years of consistently reaching semi finals in grand slams behind these three. Most would have settled for that but he pushed himself even harder until the slams arrived and then he got to No 1. Cruelly that is when his injury woes started at a point when I think he would have dominated and got the rewards for his hard work, as the other three were all struggling.
