@The Punter’s Pal is a pain in the bottom(this is true).
She has now taken to texting me(this is also true) to say she is refusing to post on here as it is not a football forum but a COVID and political stage.
Keep it up is what I say.
Hopefully @Shabby of Toad Hall will get back on here now that the tart is (again)boycotting this board.
Long live 606 with it's variety of topics of conversation.

I agree this is primarily a football forum, and we're members because we are Charlton fans.

But in these pandemic times, there is very little about football worth getting excited about in my view.
Even if Charlton were 10 points clear at the top of League One, without fans going to games and with players & staff members testing positive all over the place, what's to celebrate?
The notion among the powers-that-be, that football must continue even at the cost of people's lives, is very troubling.
The crowds on Merseyside for the Marine FA Cup tie have been blatantly played down by Police chiefs - a political instruction.
This sends a message to irresponsible fans everywhere that it's OK to gather.

Football should be called off until next season in my opinion.
But we'll carry on discussing anything we wish (within reason) on this forum <ok>

The authorities MIGHT have a rethink if a player dies from this virus. It could happen.
Then what will be said?

The return of El Toado would be most welcome.

Ken might be frozen solid right now.
This storm over Spain sounds like that movie where the helicopters froze in mid-flight.

Walking past the Wilko in Bromley High Street I bumped into Mr £500.
Amazingly, he was bright and chirpy. Walking towards me he was smiling like a 5 year old opening a box of chocolates, he was either pleased to see me or it was another case of wind.....
Whilst he was giving me his advice on why I should retire after my recent scare, very sound tbf. I couldn't help but worry about his expanding waistline, he must be 44" now, and touching 20 stones.
He tells me is virtually semi retired now, I put this down to him not being able to drag his bulk out of the chair and get out of his studio flat.
He asked me to pass on his best wishes to the members.......of course he didn't!

If you're going to retire get yourself on the waiting list for an allotment.

A year of lockdowns has taken its toll on all of our waistlines sadly.
Glad he was pleased to see you though Elfs <hug>

Top tips for existing over there are :-
If we lose don’t go on there for 48 hours
If we win don’t go on there for 48 hours
If we draw don’t go over there for 48 hours
If you openly disagree with reams don’t go on there for 48 hours
Can you see a pattern forming ?
