All at Sunderland AFC send their best wishes to former Head Coach Tony Mowbray. Earlier today, the 60-year-old announced that he will be temporarily stepping away from the technical area to receive medical treatment. SAFC’s Board of Directors, players and staff wish Tony a swift recovery and our thoughts are with him and his family at this moment in time. We know these sentiments are also held by our supporters throughout the world, who continue to hold an immense respect for our former Head Coach. Tony, we look forward to soon seeing you back on the touchline doing what you love the most and we are all with you. https://www.safc.com/news/club-news/2024/february/tony-mowbray
Some of our players have started putting messages of support for Mogga on social media now. It sounds abit worrying and i hope whatever hes going through now can be overcome.
Only just seen all this. Worrying news. Hope he’s fighting fit in no time. Pretty bonkers for varying reasons that Mowbray and Beale are both out of post so quickly after this recent managerial merry go round
That’s a bit over the top PussyCat. People will clap for anything these days. Keep that for when/if a person dies. Not because they’re poorly
It's always a nice gesture, so that might be a good idea, TC, I really don't know . . . . it went down well supporting Beale, whose niece has cancer, I believe, at the last home game, and not many actually like Beale, so it seems, and most of us do like Tony Mowbray. I'm tempted to say 'no' though, 'cos he's, hopefully, alright.
