This has to be one of the most moronic comments on here, Lamela has played about 8 games and been injured for most of the season, it is impossible to make any judgement yet. All we can go on is his previous displays at Roma, and he looks a superb footballer, time will tell if he can produce in the PL.

How is that a good thing? You spent over £100m on those players, didn't get much back and have lost loads of money over the past couple of years, so that's beneficial somehow?

Suarez cost us 23mil - If we manage to get a league title (partly through him being the best player in the PL by a mile) and 90mil for him from selling him - I'd say that's a result.

I'm personally not too worried about that. Yes, if we sold Suarez we'd miss his creativity a lot. However, we were top of the league early on in the season whilst Suarez was on his sabbatical for gently kissing Ivanovic's arm lovingly during a match.
It would be silly to say that Suarez isn't central to our team, but losing him certainly wouldn't destroy us... especially not if we had a huge chunka-money in our pocket to spend on some high class footballing talent... like Derek Asamoah for example.
