As for the self-righteous mousers, you've taken the piss out of United players that died in a plane crash for decades, then get all uppity about the dreaded H word. Go and stick your heads back up your own hypocritcal arses!

No. I thought that was clearly racist, but the CPS disagreed, apparently.

That did make me laugh.....But maybe the CPS were right as Adebayor doesnt seem to have any problem playing for Spurs so couldnt have been that offended...lol

Glad this is all over for now. Hopefully it is the football that is talked about from all sides for the next few years..... Instead of who called who what!

Thats a bit below the belt mate...Dont think you will find many Pool fans insulting or taking the piss out of the dead!

The difference is Hoddle held his hands up and apologised.

The fact is there is a bit of racism in everybody, everybody racialises to an extent, once people accept that we will get somewhere.

I'm certain Hoddle and JT aren't racists, I couldn't swear on it for Suarez but he may not be either.

and the FA is as thorough and unbiased as the CPS? <doh>

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. Neither organisation seem to be paragons of thoroughness and neutrality, to me.
The CPS also have to put up with ridiculous juries letting off clearly guilty men.
For example, I heard of one case where a bunch of blokes beat up one guy in a bar and the only one to get off was the twat who threw the first punch.

I said it was racist, but there's clearly a lot of disagreement about it, for some reason.
No idea why, to be honest.

**** off you ****, stop throwing us all in the same barrel, we don't all deride the dead, in fact it's a very small section of fans that do, and likewise with United. And as for "uppity" you'll find that's from years of ignorance from numpties like you who wouldn't remove their heads from their arses to see the truth staring them in their faces. It's taken 23 years for you all to finally realise that the police aren't whiter than white

To be fair I don't think many people would ever claim that the Police are whiter than white. Spot on about a minoirty though - sadly it only takes one person to drag the name of a club through the mud. We've all got them i'm afraid.

I don't know if Suarez is naturally of a racist mentality, but I think both he, King Kenny, and your Yank owner handled Klan-gate very badly. It certainly did absolutely nothing to enhance the reputation of LFC.

I don't support Spurs but they were the first English team to win a European trophy and did the double 25 years before your state sponsored corporation did - and they never needed a corrupt ref to get them through an FA Cup quarter final. They are as entitled as you to bang on about hiostory you gormless troglodyte <ok>

Ay ay calm down, calm down!

You're getting all excited.

Tiredness will most likely not be an issue BR likes to make about 11 changes for a midweek game. Will look something like this:

GK: Jones
RB: Flanno
LB: Enrique/Robinson
CB: Carragher
CB: Coates
CM: Henderson
CM: Shelvey
CM: Pacheco
LF: Downing
RF: Assaidi
CF: Yesil.....

Not gonna cause too many tired legs for Sunday I doubt...Come on HIAG, you can do better than that. Silll thinks its too early to say whether we will struggle for points...Give it a few more weeks and you may have to abandon this thread.....Or at least start writing complimentary things about pool.

Continuing the whole irreversible decline theory when Liverpool are playing with the youngest squad and developing some of the best talents in the premier league is going to look a bit short sided and bitter

Liverpool and Spurs will both be nowhere near the top 4. The best either can hope for is 5th/6th, but with Everton having the squad they've got and playing they way they been playing, and taking into account, historically, they always improve as the season goes on, I reckon they'll come 5th above Spurs and Liverpool. I think if Arse got injuries or went into a bad run of form, I'd go as far as saying Everton could be a good bet for sneaking 4th off the goons.

Spurs, Newcastle and Liverpool (will improve now the hard opening run is done with) will fight it out for the Europa spots.

Why so bitter?

Are you a Watford fan.

I was there and it was a foul all day long.

We worked our balls off for that double and deserved it because back then we were miles ahead of everyone else, just like Utd has been the same over the last 20 years.

Thats how you see it but you on this occasion are in the minority. As I said it was blatantly obvious what hes trying to do and to be fair good on him. Fergie does it after all, any manager worth his salt would.

You are the only person who I've read who thinks this. I've had loads of conversations with all the lads round newroom and sports desk, and while its been a divisive subject of debate, none of the lads I've discussed it with (who include fans of Spurs, Arsenal, Peterborough, Utd, Everton, Villa, Swansea and a few others who I can't remember) didn't take it as BR making threats even a little bit. It didn't come into my or their heads as its so obviously stupid.

All he was saying is he has went to great limits to discipline his team about being sporting (they've been threatened with fines and being dropped for diving without contact as there is no grey area over that. If there's actual contact its really hard to tell if its enough to topple someone - like Valencia the other weekend), even speaking to Suarez individually about what he expects and accepts and what he doesn't, yet even so his players, in particular Suarez, are being legitimately fouled and having dangerous 2 footed tackles go in on them (Suso, Shelvey, Henderson) and the refs aren't even giving yellows for them, sometimes not even free-kicks, yet when his players do something their treated a lot harsher.

The point he is making is thatwhat was the point of him going to those lengths to keep his own players in check, and dishing out threats of punishment etc, only for other teams players (we know who they are this season so I'm not naming them) dive and play act worse than Liverpool ever have but prosper from it. He's saying whats the point of him bothering if he and his team arent going to get anything from it, or get any fair decisions. Hes frustrated, and rightfully so because the decisions that have been given against Liverpool, and the ones for Liverpool that have been waved away has been a joke, which nearly every TV pundit over the weekend was drawing attention to.

I knew it was bad when over the weekend and then again tonight I saw and heard Gary Neville of all people sticking up for Suarez and Rodger's and saying how bad the decisions have been against them.

To be fair though its not just Liverpool who've had really poor refereeing go against them this season, there seems to be something in the Refs drinking water.
