What a load of crap. Historically, Everton start abysmally. Surely that Everton have started so well, at this stage only serves to highlight a buck in usual historical trends, rather than an endorsement of them. You can not say that Everton will get better just because they have in the past, given that their current performances are totally at odds with their usual (historically) early-season form . Presumably we can expect them to be playing like Barcelona in June?
Gareth Bale is just as bad as Suarez is 'supposed' to be. He has only been cautioned for 'simulation' nearly as much as Suarez, and considering replays and pundits showed at least 2 of Suarez's booking for diving were incorrect also (according to Gary Neville last week and earlier tonight who showed the footage to prove it), so I don't think Spurs fans should be given Suarez too much ****. However, Bale is British and as Fergie intimated today, its only really them dirty foreigners who dive as their the ones who brought it into the English game in the first place. Funny thing is as well I bet you no-one on here can name a time when Suarez actualy dived and the ref got it correct. Every time he's supposedly dived replays have shown there was contact. he play-acts and exaggerates like Stevie can sure, nearly all p,ayers do that though, and thats not the same as intentionally diving without contact. A lot of this Suarez diving crap is a media created myth and by people who are very influential in the game continually bring it up. When you ask these people to tell you when did Suarez dive as if its so often, every week, it cant be very hard to bring one to mind, they never can. Then they run off to Youtube and send me a clip, then I tell them that everyone of those clips there was obvious contact, or I send them a clip of someone like Neville showing why the ref was wrong, inparticular the yellow he got a few weeks back at Sunderland where again, Neville uses his little replay footage thing to show their was definite contact which was enough to trip him up. He exaggerates, and can go down easy, but he doesn't 'dive'. This applies for the majority of players though in today's game no matter what their ethnicity, but I can't remember a time in England (someone was so desperate to prove me wrong they sent me 5 vids of him at Ajax as if I care about that hes a LFC player in England now) when he went down without any contact like some British players have done in the last couple of seasons and got away with. (Its funny when Sky show him top of the yellows for simulation which plays further to the idea that he is the leagues worst culprit, but pay no attention to the Chelsea and Utd players who have been diving the last 2 seasons but mainly getting away without getting a yellow for it. I don't think there was one Utd player on the whole chart of yellows for simulation, making out that Utd have nobody at all who dives which we all know isn't true. Rodger's is drilling the moaning and play acting and exaggerating out of him slowly too (which judged by the Norwich game seems to be working as he didn't bitch and moan about not getting that stone wall pen as much as he used to would have, and he could of easily went down in the area under a clumsy diving slide tackle from a Norwich defender in the lead up to the 3rd goal and got the fella set off as he was last defender, but he didn't. Last year he would of, so imo something is definitely changing there). I find it funny when the FA, football media and old boys club of Fat Sam, Fergie, Woy and the like go on about kicking racism out of footy etc, when its them lot who are blinded by their institutionalized Xenophobia and low laying racism, that is all too often displayed in acts such as Fergies latest diatribe or the absolute near racist bile Parlour came out with on Sky the other day. Hypocrits the lot of them. Suarez is no angel at all, and I can get angry with his petulance and over exaggeration, especially in his first 12 months here when he was a lot worse, but he's nowhere near as bad as the pantomine villian he is portrayed as by the media and non-Liverpool fans.
This also futher proves my point about the difference in how British 'divers' and foreign 'divers' are treated.
There's contact he goes over. Thats not a dive, its play acting. A dive is when there is NO contact at all.
Don't forget Gareth Bale who is as bad as anyone on that little list. Liverpool, nor any other team for that matter, has a repution for diving. Syop talking drivel. It means we must have done something right for Watford fans to even hate us and Spurs fans who have never really had ay historical or even recent rivalry with.
No, that's your definition of diving. What Suarez does there is classic simulation (diving). A 2008 study found that there are recognizable traits that can often be observed when a player is diving. They are: - a separation in time between the impact and the simulation - a lack of ballistic continuity (the player moves further than would be expected from the momentum of the tackle) and - lack of contact consistency (the player nurses a body part other than where the impact occurred, such as contact to the chest causing the player to fly to the ground, holding his face). Textbook stuff.
Suarez does dive but not as much as people make out. He's no worse than Bale, Young, or Chelsea for instance. I'll never forget Bale bombing it down the wing and then diving like an olympic swimmer. It was pathetic; as is all diving. It could really easily be dealt with - but it adds entertainment, and money, and thus the likes of the FA leave it as it is.

Suarez dives. It's nothing to do with him being from Uruguay. Bale's Welsh. Ashley Young's English. They both dive, too. There's been plenty of focus on them both doing it. The main difference is that there's additional focus on Suarez, not because he's from South America, but because he's got quite a list of misdemeanors to his name. Diving, snarling, biting, handballing on the line, racially abusing the opposition... it seems virtually endless. Google "Luis Suarez is a". The top four suggested words to follow that sentence are: 1) racist, 2) disgrace, 3) prick, and 4) cheat. Bale's top 3 are monkey, chimp and Liverpool fan!
Why do they need to suggest all three of them? Surely monkey, chimp and Liverpool fan are fairly synonymous.
