I think he'll be decent... He'll have more of a chance at Spurs than at Chelsea.

BUT - as Chelsea fans will tell you, his tactics were often inept, which was nothing to do with the poor attitude of the players.
 
HIAG, as a relatively new poster and not a "Pool" fan, you seem to have a disturbing obsession with what's going on at Liverpool.
I would have thought that you would have enough to keep you occupied with he comings and goings at Spurs.
What gives, just asking?

Not obsession, but entertainment. The Mousers are pure comedy gold, and have been for several seasons, now.

Do you not find them hilarious?

At the moment, they are all have massive crises of conscience, because on the one hand they want to get behind BR in a desperate need to believe that his vision will carry them to new glories, but this requires them (on the other hand) to acknowledge that Kenny-boy (the man who they all revered as their "king" and saviour) was a complete and abject failure, who betrayed his club and its fans.

Also, it's hilarious how they are all skirting around the issues with Carroll. We all knew he was a donkey, and none of us could quite believe it when Kenny-boy signed him for £35 million! But all of the Mousers, in their usual act of blind and unquestioning loyalty, stuck by their "king" and tried to bull5hit the rest of us that Carroll would come good. Of course, he never did. And, now, BR has come out and, to all intents and purposes, agreed with the rest of us that Carroll is a donkey, at the same time making the implicit statement that Kenny-boy was a complete and utter tool for buying him in the first place.

You could not write this script! It is comedic gold-dust!

I'm the one charged, on this board, with keeping the rest of the Spurs faithful updated on all things Mouser-related. Perhaps you should put yourself forward as the man responsible for undertaking the same job on the Charlton board? They'll thank you for it. Trust me.
 
That HIAG spends so much of his time researching and reporting back what is going on with Liverpoor means that other Spurs fans don't have to get tainted by visiting the Liverpoor board - it's like a public service for which many are grateful.

I speak as I find, and on the whole I don't mind the Liverpool board. The regular posters seem a decent bunch who are happy to admit that that are a way off from where they want to be. However, i have read that they had a few posters who were knobs ( before my time!)
I find some of the manc fans more irritating. It seems that unless you support Utd, you know nothing about football.
 
It does have to be said that, over the three seasons that I have been quietly observing the Mousers, there does seem to have been a shift in delusional views this Summer. I will hold back from believing that the Mouser has mended his ways, because I think it likely that he is merely shell-shocked from all the dreadful things that have happened in such a short period of time, culminating with the club desperately trying to get rid of its most expensive player of all-time for peanuts to the likes of Fulham or West Ham. None of us could take that kind of punishment without being forced to hold our heads in shame - and have no doubts that the Mouser truly has much to hold his head in shame over.

No. I will withhold my judgement until halfway through the season, because I am willing to bet that if, by some lucky fluke, the ex-Swansea manager gets a few wins under his belt, the Mousers will be back to their old tricks, organising street parties, and dancing all night to the tunes of Cilla Black, telling us that they are going to rule Europe for the next 1000 years.

Unfortunately, I have seen and heard it all before. Except that, this time, some Mousers do seem to be genuinely ashamed of themselves and their club.

I cannot believe what I have been reading on the Mouser board! They truly believe that had Suarez been put before the beak, that he would have been found "not guilty." Can you believe that!

Let's examine the case for the prosecution, shall we?

Counsel: "Mr Suarez, do you admit that when Mr Evra tried to reason with you, you refused to engage him in an adult conversation?"

Goofy: "Yes."

Counsel: "And do you recall telling him the reason why you would not engage him in an adult conversation? "

Goofy: "I told him it was because he was black."

Counsel: "And you emphasized this by pinching his skin, as you spoke those words, didn't you?"

Goofy: "Yes."

Counsel: "And when Mr Evra persisted in trying to engage you in adult conversation, there was one particular word with which you taunted him, over and over again, wasn't there?"

Goofy: "Yes. I kept calling him 'little blackie.' It is a term of racial abuse in my home country."

Counsel: "Indeed, it is, Mr Suarez. In this country the phrase that you used could also be interpreted as the word "******," could it not?"

Goofy: "It is possible that some may interpret it as that, yes."

Counsel: "So when Mr Evra attempted to engage you in an adult conversation as to why you were racially abusing him, your response was to shout the word "******" at him, over and over again?"

Goofy: "Yes."

Counsel: (turning to the judge) "The case for the Crown rests, m'lud."


Okay, so I know that this is only a hypothetical cross-examination of Suarez, but his replies are based on the admissions he made to the FA, and from which it is abundantly clear that far from being found "not guilty" in a court of law, the buck-toothed twat would have been sent down for a long stretch.

Now we know why Carroll's being shown the door! That donkey couldn't find his own arse in 7 seconds.

Do you get the feeling that Reina and Gerrard are going to end up effecting a Terry/Lampo style coup d'etat on BR around about Xmas?
