Mouser Watch #2

  1. It's official....

    CARROLL IS A DONKEY!

In all seriousness, though, this has got to be a massive embarrassment for Carroll, who could find himself plying his trade at the likes of Swindon or Colchester, next season.

It gets worse and worse for the Mousers!

I'll be honest, I'd take Carroll at Spurs.
If we could get him in for about £10m and get his confidence back by playing him in the cups and using him as an impact sub, then I think he'd be well worth it.
I felt that he was used completely wrong by Dalglish and I don't think that he's right for Rodgers' style of football either, so he may be let go.

I think that this comment's a bit of a slip by the Liverpool boss.
It'll hardly fill the player with confidence, will it?

  3. <yikes>

If we got Carroll in, we'd might just as well have appointed Big Sam as our manager.

Sorry HIAG, I agree with PNP. I thought he looked pretty good in the FA Cup final (scored 2 goals <grr>) and also in the Euros. I thnk he has something about him, more than just a target man for long balls. Pretty sure AVB wouldn't allow us to play like that any way.

i agree too. With 2 decent wingers we'd see a improvement in Carroll. He totally doesn't suit the way liverpool play (with 2 ****e wingers and basically relying on gerrard)

    Shevchenko?

Not sure how Rodgers believes Carroll doesn't fit in - Danny Graham plays a similar game, and he seems to have done alright at Swansea last season.

Millwall are looking for a loanee striker as we won't let them have Harry Kane this season. Carroll might fit the part.

  11. Listening to Talk5hite tonight, and apparently West Ham are making enquiries after Carroll.

Didn't I say that he was just the type of player for Big Sam!

Sorry, but if 'Pool don't think they can use him, he'd be just as useless for us. I don't want "lump it to the big fella" football at Spurs. I had enough of that under Redknapp. And don't even attempt to convince me that Carroll is more than a "lump it to the big fella" type of player, because he isn't. If he was, then 'Pool wouldn't be looking to get rid.

Not sure thats confidence building, 'Here's an idea Andy...swap benches!' Looks like Rodgers has decided he's not suitable for his quick passing game. A similar one that we'll be adopting, so I don't see the fit either. Carroll is a lumbering target man with a decent left peg, plenty of power, but not much pace, an attitude, and not more imo. Rodgers and his opinions were widely accepted by many on here for Spurs, before recent events, he's seen something in Carroll he doesn't like.

Apart from that he's always getting plastered after a night on the tiles! ... http://www.talksport.co.uk/sites/de...picture/andy_carroll_plastered_tiling_van.jpg

...Like I said, not the best engine, and does look like he's labouring! :D

Brendan Rodgers goes into church for his weekly confession.
"Forgive me Father for I have sinned this week" says Brendan
"Come forth and repent" says the priest
"Come fourth!!" says Brendan "are you taking the piss! I'll be lucky to finish 10th!"

If he'd said anything else you'd be calling him deluded.

I love how HIAG was went from deriding AVB to singing his praises, encapsulates the whole issue.

Vertonghen signed today I see, great signing that.
