oops! Love it!... http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...d-liverpools-player-of-the-year-10182304.html
So, no Cup Final for Stevie G, and looking less and less likely for 4th. This has not been a good season for Mouser delusionists.
But as Brenda said: "It was a great experience that'll help us to do better in the future......" Next year it is then
This time next year we'll be Premiership champions, Rodney.... To be somewhat fair to poor old Brenda, he did put his hands up and say 'we were second best'
That was an understatement, though, NSS. Villa ripped news ones for 'Pool, all over the park. It was a blood-bath.
Rodgers has failed in all respects. I can't think he'll last much longer in that job after another trophyless season. He got his stated transfers targets including Lambert, Lallana and Lovren. They have all been rubbish. He has no real experienced players of any quality and certainly nobody who can fill Gerrard's boots. His formation and tactics have been equally rubbish. Initially, his 3-4-3 seemed to confuse the poorer sides, but once people had worked it out - and saw that Can was in central defence - they have been in trouble. I can't believe how easy it was for Utd at Anfield. The wide players had acres of space to run into. Mata had a field day. And most of the time he talks utter sh*te, heaping unnecessary pressure on the young players he has who are quite good.
I know this is going to come as a slight surprise to some of you, but I'm beginning to feel a bit sorry for the Mousers.
I'm wondering if https://twitter.com/DeludedBrendan/with_replies was written by the person that posts most on this thread
Liverpool defender Glen Johnson looks to have passed on the football skills to his young son. The England internationaluploaded a videoof his lad playing football in the back garden - and twice hitting the crossbar - while pretending to be his dad's Anfield team-mate Daniel Sturridge. (BBC Football gossip page) What the BBC appears to be saying is that Johnson's son is ****e at football, like his dad (who also cannot score). Who'd have thought it! The BBC wumming 'Pool!
'Pool have to form a guard of honour for the Chavs, next match. That will please the Mousers no end! I wonder if Brenda will give a Tim Sherwood-style USA military salute to Mourhino? That would top off Mouser humiliation nicely.
