Hate's a very strong word Loiner. I don't think your average football really needs to hate us. Whereas all the other managers are magnanimous and humble in defeat aren't they?
its not that jip, theres been a series of incidents between the two clubs over the years leading to a dislike. before the fa cup game in 2009 one of your lads was beaten to a pulp by our lads and theres bad blood now apparently.
Yeah i don't really get why Ferguson is the only one who gets criticised for it. There's any number of managers who blame every one and everything when their team loses. I love the way that a bloke of his age can still maintain that passion after doing it for 25 years.
Yes, I know about that (though it was back in 2005, the semi-final). But why should Southampton hate United because a United fan was put in a vegetative state?
someone else was beaten up before the 2009 game too. some united fans apparently beat up some young saints boys and it was "retribution".
It's all very daft really, but I even though there have been people hurt, I still wouldn't class Southampton as a rivalry. We don't have any anti-Saints songs anyway.
nobody said it was a rivalry, just explaining why some of our fans dont like your fans. this is all **** ive heard from some "lads".
Hey Jip Jap - seeing Robbie Savage's name in the list reminds me - Arkle Supreme regularly phones up 606 to claim Sheffield wednesday are one of the bgigest clubs in England - and robbie gives him a verbal kicking every time
Fair dos. Maybe I took it a bit personally when you said "we don't like you, you don't like us". I am a sensitive soul.
The very same! I know a couple of blokes who used to be in the london owls and they couldn't stand him
