She is far too upset to cook my supper so it will be off to bed hungry tonight!

I should never have told her.

I suspect we will go for 30, but settle on 25. Remember that we will never pay that for a player, so we will probably buy 2 players for that. Would still rather keep Morgan....we need to keep a frame for new players to fit in. Don't want a team with no experience of the EPL.

Losing Morgan would be the biggest loss to us this Summer... if it's true that Spurs are talking to him then it means Saints are ready to let him go and have given permission for the two parties to talk. Clearly they have not convinced him that there is sufficient ambition in the management to take us forward and he's recognises MP as the manager on the up.

Victor and Jack are not adequate replacements for him - for me - the midfielder we have had for years and over the next 5 seasons he is only going to get better. NC goes and the pace is falling to pieces. I expect Jay will be the next target for MP - its already being hinted in the press that he's a huge fan Jay...

And the world is due to end this weekend. :(

Koeman's dream team is getting closer to being a reality. Hope we push on and sign a player or 2 (or a few) this and next week.

If he goes, he goes. Of course nobody wants him to, but it's not the precedent for an implosion. He'll be replaced.

So you don't think we have a crisis on our hands? The spine of the team has gone and the two most influential midfielders have left with possibly the best young manager in the country and arguably one of the most effective CEO's in modern European football?

That's all right then - I can sleep easy tonight....

Oh, sarcastic ellipses! Crap! We're doomed.

A dream that was never going to happen at Saints was sold to a load of players who have all just hit the high points of their careers, with national call ups and big club bids. Oddly, they've all decided to go for the glory and the money, leaving us with nothing but vast overflowing coffers and an exciting new manager.

You are bang on. We are ****ing doomed.

Where I have I written that he is irreplaceable? I have said I think he is one of the best midfielders we have had for a very long time! At present, one of the best in the EPL.

Where did I write that you did? Look, Morgan is my favourite player at the club, and I'd hate to see him go, but you really seem to have double-dropped on the hysterical pills tonight.

Do you think we'll be relegated this season? I don't. It will be a season of reconciliation, but I'm quite excited about this new phase now.

Morgan is the most replaceable. There's plenty of CMs around of realistic quality for our team and we already have 2/3 PL standard ones. Won't worry as much if Morgan goes as I have for most of the others. Koeman will know what he's doing, trust.

In all honesty, I kind of hope he goes. I have a really strong feeling that we can expect more from Reed and JWP this year, and as LeTiss keeps saying, sometimes you need players to leave to give others a chance.

Also, he, above all of them, deserves CL football. I think there is genuine pressure from the French FA for its players to be in big clubs.

Schneiderlin may be replaceable but replacing five members of your first choice XI and your manager and coaching staff in one summer is a recipe for disaster. Yes, we may have loads of cash and bring in new players but it will take time to gel and we will lose out on a lot of money if we sell him and are relegated. We cannot let anyone else go.
