Ah ha ha you deluded Engurlanders and your fùcked up view of history. It was Scotland that subjugated England petal, not the other way around. You had been kicked out of Scotland 300 years previously. Sent home to think again as it where. 300 years later our king took your crown and gave you a bible. In fact it wasn't until after the union of parliaments and the Scots taking over the reigns did the "British" empire actually take off.

Did you not get the gist of the previous replies? Us English have been used as a veritable football by all sorts of twats, Scots included, but you still make no mention of how you got your arses handed to you and haven't been able to get over yourselves ever since. Or did Bonnie Prince Italian ***got never happen?

It was the Act of Union, we all joined together to create a better whole. Both English and Scots have benefited ever since, it isn't England that wants to be rid of you lot by the way just all of you with a hard on after watching Braveheart. If Queen Lizzie had got her hole and knocked out a son and heir Wee Jimmy wouldn't have gotten a look in.

We won, the dark side was vanquished and the shining light of Scottish Presbyterianism went to rule the world and invent just about everything there in.

As I was saying, try googling stuff. It will save you from these embarrassing historical inaccuracies.

The only inaccuracy appears to be that you appear to believe Scotland "won". If this was the case and Scotland beat the English I doubt you would be getting your sporran in a bunch and demanding independence now. Do we now have to have two threads? One for the staunch Protestant Scotland that never bent the knee and another for the wussy Catholic Scotland who rolled over and made shortbread when it all came on top?

Hmmm I like shortbread BTW Are the Walkers shortbread with hazelnuts and choc chips widely available in Scotland ?I could only get them in airports,@EasterRoad1980 to confirm.
