Interesting, he's clearly off somewhere then. Not a big enough name for Palace or Watford, so maybe Sunlan?
We need to get on this now if he is available, not next week, next month etc... now. He's probably the best of the names mentioned so far and whoever we bring in would need as much time as possible to figure out how to turn around the mess that is our club.
He's easily the best name mentioned. This time yesterday I wouldn't have thought in a million years we could get him but he's clearly going somewhere.
Watford and Palace - Not Italian or big enough.
Boro - getting Narky Nigel.
That leaves us or Sunlan - I'd say it's 60/40 in their favour.
Maybe he thinks after working with Cellino he can handle anyone...
The only reason he's resigned is because someone's had a chat with him and they'll be in the box seats! Us? I doubt it?
He's obviously resigned because he's got something lined up, I reckon he'll be announced as Sunderland or Boro manager in the next few days.
Maybe Ehab's holding off the Silva departure announcement so he can include a newly appointed manager statement in the same press release.
