I've just seen that he has a win percentage of 48%, not good enough for Patty.

Their Chief Exec (who's just quit) and their Communications Manager do exactly that.

I realise I'm saying nothing new here, but to reaffirm; if we had a grown-up in charge and were capable of attracting a decent manager he'd be an excellent choice. I don't think he's ever actually done a bad job. Never understood why Swansea got rid. And of course taking Leeds into the top half of the Championship was a hell of a feat for them.

Eighth, which was their highest ever Premier League finish, though their record highest finish was 6th in the old First Division.

Leeds folded worse than we did , I wouldn't hate him taking over , don't think it's that exciting a prospect tho

I've just shown this thread to a Leeds fan at work (I work in Leeds) and he p**sed himself laughing that some of our fans think he would resign from Leeds to come here - I tend to agree.

I completely agree, but where does he think he is going? I just cannot see Watford or Palce going for him So for me we're definitely in 2nd position behind Sunlan.

I also tend to agree.....Coming to Hull is far too big a step up for Monk......going to Scunthorpe would be a decent upgrade in job and city

He might have just resigned because the chairman told him he was getting £11.60 to spend ... So we might have a chance When Ehab offers a crisp £20.00

One of the half witted Leeds fans has described them as 'still one of the biggest clubs in England' on their Monk thread.

    :emoticon-0136-giggl

Bit early for him to be on the sauce but then again the sun is out and he's probably sat in his back yard swigging Special Brew in celebration.

Yes, copied it to post on here once I had stopped laughing. "We're still one of the biggest clubs in England & we were heading towards the PL. Phark knows what'll happen". Bless.
