Early betting, No.3's a bit left field... Brendan Rodgers 1/2 David Moyes 3/1 JorgeSampaoli 7/1 Gus Poyet 10/1 Dick Advocaat 14/1
It seems harsh, but he didn't inspire confidence at the weekend. Too much at stake for sentiment. Rodgers would be madness for him, Moyes would be madness for Swansea. Poyet would make sense for him. They can have Bruce.
He sounds Welsh, so should be a hit with the fans. He's not on the twitter scatter gun list yet though.
This thread will do for this but who knows the procedure for taking banners into the ground? I've started making quite a large BRUCE OUT MONK IN banner, hopefully finished tomorrow. How do I go about getting it on display?
Get OLM to lend you a plane and attach it to the rudder, somebody on here will fly it for you no doubt, I reckon French Tickler is the closet airline pilot
Hat, if Monk couldn't do it with a club as huge as Swansea, with their support, with their money and youth set up, not to mention that squad, what makes you think he can do it up in Hull? He couldn't.
Well, he's done better in a year or two than Steve Bruce hs done in decades. He's also better at attracting bigger and better players than Bruce. Bruce has also failed at far bigger clubs. Monk did well at a club very similar to us and suffered a blip, Bruce hs been **** everywhere he's been.
Everyone loved Monk until a few weeks ago. They've gone a bit off the boil and suddenly he's terrible. We've been ****e under Bruce for like 2 years and it's still considered taboo to not rate him.
Monk kept Swansea up, then got them to 8th in the Premier League in his first ever season in management, he'll get more job offers than Bruce.
I don't get it. Even the Chelsea fans aren't calling for Mourhino's head. I'm pleased we're sticking with our manager.
Swansea City: Pep Clotet, James Beattie and Kris O'Leary leave club Swansea City have confirmed that assistant manager Pep Clotet and coaches James Beattie and Kris O'Leary have left the club, following the departure of Garry Monk.
It looks like a few quid's been lumped on Nigel Pearson, he's just been cut from 25/1 to 6/1 to be the next Swansea boss.
