LOL nope. It's a fairly common term in punting for a horse that you keep following because you dont want it to win without your money being on it. ie "followed it over a cliff"

Sounds like that habit would bankrupt a serial loser like myself thankfully I never write them down.

Cliff horses are so annoying -bags of ability but rarely consent to put it all in --Harvey Smith once said the best
racehorse is the dumbest and the worst are the most intelligent ......

Did you notice the Beresford-Wylie beast came in at Chepstow !

Nice to see Value at risk back in the winners enclosure. Looks as if he keeps a whole load back for himself.

Great to see Mouse Morris winning the national after such a tough year for him personally. My friend congratulated him near the enclosure and he replied 'I don't know how the feck he got up'<laugh>

Cracking ride wasn't it. Ruby must have been licking his chops going to the last but Rogue Angel found for pressure and as you say good to see the mighty mouse bag another big one.

He's an aristocrat as well...hides it well.

I shared a word with him at Wexford in October 2014 at the Opera week...he ran Horendous Hollabous in the opener..quite a character...smokes like a train..

I think it was Colin's Brother attivo was referring to. He won the 4.05 in what was a brilliant finish, getting back up to deny Rock On Rocky.

Christ ! I backed it in a double with dusky Lark -didn't twig bout the owners ! The twister has his string inttop order --watch out Aintree !!
