I see Killer crow is running tomorrow in the Irish national was a big fancy for a few on here for the festival but bypassed that for this from the looks of it! Anyone on?

Wooly was just going to post that I've backed Killer Crow at 16s.Think he has been laid out for this and has the excellent Jack Kennedy in the saddle who takes off 3lbs.One small concern is if he will get the trip but I'm hopefull he will be bang on in there jumping the last.Of the other Elliot runners with chances Cause of Causes looks to be carrying to much weight but Mala Beach should also go close if he sorts his jumping out.My other selection is Sub Lieutentant for Sandra Hughes who of course took this race last year. He won a graded race the other day so should be match fit for this and Cooper has selected him over the other half dozen Gtwon runners(betfair still 25s).Of course you need a lot of luck in running in such a race so definitely not one to get to heavily involved in punting wise.

Redcar
3:45 - treasury notes 9/1

Irish national - my main bets in it are Venetien de Mai(9/1) and Killer Crow(12/1). Savers on Baie Des Iles(25/1) and Futuramic(33/1)

Irish National. 2 against the field:
Bonny Kate 8/1
Venitien De Mai 9/1

Whilst I was fancying Killer Crow for the novices handicap chase on the first day of the Cheltenham Festival, it is a massive leap from that to the Irish Grand National. I wish him well be that is a very tough assignment for a novice.

Novices have had a good record in the Irish National in the last few years Oddy so I'm hoping that will continue!

Super Yankee for me...

2:25 MR - SIR NOTE 5/2
3:15 Fai - GENERAL PRINCIPLE 13/2
3:50 Fai - BRAND AMBASSADOR 12/1
4:35 Fak - MALIBU ROCK 2/1
5:00 Fai - BONNY KATE 15/2

Good luck all!!

I can see the placepot at Redcar paying a fortune today - heavy ground, big fields, early in the flat season. Get ready for some fancy priced winners.
