The funny thing is mate I agree with your general point about people getting offended too easy and race card being one sided etc.

But re. your first paragraph are you honestly trying to say that there's nothing wrong with making the comment I mentioned towards a muslim?

If so then you're simply a bigot and there's no hope for you.

And no I don't expect you to give a **** that I lost respect for you... I simply mentioned it as you're a strong character and like 'marmite'

I always got on with you so I'm making the point not because I have an agenda against you, but cos the comment was disgraceful no matter who made it.

The muslim debate is highly controversial. I will not sit here and lie to you as i can debate with you and dont need to lie just to try and look good look. Even if i offend others.

I don't actually know what was said in the latest banninh Nor do i care, as i have probably said the same if not worse. Although these days i try to steer clear on this board. But that is mainly out of respect for Blunham. But elsewhere, i. e comments towards spudcock. If you are offended, sorry thats your problem, i couldnt give a ****. The race card is so one sided, that **** gets away with anything because of his belief. (although in reality he could be am albino kkk member)

just to add my two pennorth i saw the post by Billy the Bastard when in a bizarre attempt to insult Hiag and Spurlock he said all sick & disabled should be shot which was soon deleted.
Now whilst i never go onto other teams boards with the intent of stirring up trouble , unlike others , i was , to say the least , horrified that someone could post such views on a public forum whatever the supposed provacation.

SPURLOCK COMES ON THIS BOARD NORMALLY WITH THE SOLE PURPOSE OF TRYING TO PLAY THE RACE CARD, he will goad to get the right reaction, his words are nasty but because of his faith we let it slide, its normally he who starts ****, he is a nasty **** of the first order, if he wasnt a muslim everyone would rejoice at him getting **** back,

This is what I don't get.. If Spurlock and HIAG wum, they do so within the limits we all tend to abide by. So here's a question for the likes of Billy and Comm and Roger.... why don't you? When you get wummed, why don't you wum back in the same way? Is it because you're not witty or cutting enough to? Just don't get how you can justify ANY attack on someone's race or religion as somehow relevant to someone wumming you?

It's like saying if a black person winds me up, I can call him the N word because it's all part of banter and to criticise that as "playing the race card" is suddenly "one sided" which makes no logical sense whatsoever. There really is no excuse for bigotry.

There's not much point in criticizing the mods, for the simple reason that they can't please everyone. The displeased will always bleat that the mods are not doing their jobs.

In this case, Billy was way over the mark and could have been banned as soon as his comments came to the attention of a mod. But mods don't live on here and some posters will always argue about stifling debate when a ban goes in, even if justified.

Posters never see half of what goes on behind the scenes...

But you didnt see the thread so you don't know the wumming by Spurlock. What you've quoted is one post that was made AFTER the event. Not condoning Spurlock but all you can quote is one comment against the accusation that there is a long running culture of racism on your board.

One isolated incident compared with a systematic and endemic racism/bigotry problem by posters on here.

Tbh if I was black and there was a board full of bigoted remarks aimed at black people I'd be quite inclined to go on there to wind them up. That's why I frequent the Chelsea board... although I'm not black, I just do it anyway! :biggrin:

you make me laugh if we reply with the same venom, that is dished out to us, we are deemed racist, and the instigator is left alone once the race card is used , and always is when they are loosing the argument so in your eyes the only freedom of speech comes if we be quiet ,while being picked on whilst the race card is dished out, ALL MY FAMILY HAVE FOUGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY , it was meant to be a land fit for heros, not persecuted, by those who our government sent us to protect.
