Mod announcement

Hi everyone,

I'm sitting in terminal 5 which must mean it's the start of my summer adventures. I'm not going to be around for most of the next few months and after I get back I'll be entering The Real World.

So I'm handing over to a new, younger and fresher moderator, and we've all agreed that ChilcoSaint is the man for the job. Thanks to him for saying yes (no tagbacks).

Anyway thanks to everyone for making this place fun and a bit addictive. Whether you post every day, only now and then, or just like reading transfer rumours, you're all contributing, and I think that's really cool. Have a fun/relaxing summer, particularly if you're cheering on Rickie from long distance.

From sunny Italy, farewell Qwerty. Have a great break. Probably the greatest compliment we can pay to the mods on this board is that while we know who you all are, we rarely notice you. Like the best referees, you let play continue but come down like a ton of bricks when needed.

As an occasional poster and avid reader, I'll say bon voyage and thanks. And of course, welcome and good luck to Chilco.

I don't think I'll ever be trusted with moderating duties, but I'm glad we've gone for a hardcore socialist in Chilco. Enjoy your summer adventures Qwerts.
